SS + Auto attack Macro

I've tried a few but can't seem to get any to work properly. Looking for a macro that cast SS if I have the energy to do so, or else cast auto attack if not enough energy is available. Just so I don't need to right click to attack when switching my attack target with lack of energy to cast SS yet.

I'm using ClassicMacros addon with the following macro:

/startattack
/cast Sinister Strike

@JohnnyUSA You do not need an addon to do everything for you.

@kas Here is your macro:

/script if not IsCurrentAction(#) then UseAction(#) end;
/cast Sinister Strike(Rank 8);

* (#) corresponds to the action bar number

* you put your autoattack into a slot on your action bar then enter the number for the slot into the brackets

* web search "wow action bar numbers image" to find the number for each action slot

Maybe i don't have invisible bars, i'm using them all.

But even if i don't use them all, technically, that's still wasting a slot, you smartass.

If you got rid of your 30 /spit /rofl /taunt macros you might be able to fit in something useful like this.

This will fuck up your Prat-History tho, you can't open Chat and scroll throught your written stuff with Arrowkeys anymore since all you'll see is these lines (sucks if you're setting up /luna menu for example in the fight)

TrinketMenu doesnt give you extra bars btw. these are limited in Vanilla.

As you can see i didnt upload for a month and you cant compare dps ranks at all since all guilds work different.

Some wipe at vael (hello there) some keep buffs all BWL. Ofc your rank will be higher with that.

All this has nothing to do with the fact that you are apparently too bad to manage your Action Bars properly but hey i guess its totally understandable if you drag every available trinket to you into an extra bar

If you checked razergore and vael you would see im usually way ahead of you... cant help it if i lose buffs at vael to tank mistakes.

GG mate i hope you find some more Action bar slots for all the new AQ trinkets

Why would you compare dps on Vael? A very unique fight? Use a Patchwerk-Fight, therefor Ebonroc since he's tauntable.

A Rogue overtakes a Threatcapped Fury on vael? Shocking. 

A player in a slow Guild does more deeps on Razor? Amazing, you're aware dragonkins live barely 2 Globals in our Raids? Theres nothing to improve.

 

Anyway, you just seem salty and unreasonable. There is a maximum of 10 Bars you can have in Vanilla WoW, Trinketmenu will use 1 of these 10 Bars, therefor you'll miss that one somewhere else.

I said if i lose buffs at or after vael almost every week the past months and your guild doesnt wipe there and lets you keep the buffs there is 0 way to compare the dps on later bosses.

Shouldnt be too hard to comprehend even for you. i used to be #44 on old overall rankings 3 months ago when i was allowed to keep buffs for a few IDs... so please SHHHH with your nonsense.

Not dying is part of skilled Gameplay, foreseeing danger and reacting accordingly is what makes a good player, not standing at a Boss pressing 3 Buttons at the right time.

If you lose buffs every week as a rogue you don't only play in a shit guild but you're probably also a shit player.

Thanks for enlightening me mate i dont see how this fits in here when i stand in melee camp at vael and get 1shot breathed because someone overaggroed or tanks died and we get 1shot  cleaved ... but hey im glad you got that insane burst of knowledge off your chest.

Thats why you get 1 out of 5 (or 6) encounters that don't count on Realmplayers. So if a fuckup happens, which does to all of us sometimes, it doesnt affect your Ranking.

If your Guild constantly overaggro's or has dying Tanks on Vael you either need to think about g-kicking the people that overaggro, switch the Healers that can't keep the Tanks up or switch your strategie to have a second tank on 2th position of KTM so if your Tank dies you only get tailswiped.

This, again, is also part of skilled Gameplay.

I couldnt aggree more on that ofc beiing a part of skilled gameplay. Unfortunally you dont seem to realise there is basically nothing i could do to "outplay" those kinds of mistakes that have unfortunally happened alot lately. Thus realmplayer overall doesnt mean shit if you are not in the same guild / raid while comparing individual performance.
