all of my characters have been deleted

i got home from work today and logged in and all of my charactrs on all of the elysium servers are gone. i flipped out and thought maybe i was buggged so i deleted my wtf folder and rebooted my comp. i logged back in again and still had no characters on any of the servers. i keep logging in and out and still i dont have any characters.

can anything be done? i never did anything stupid like buy gold or items or leveling or anything. the only addons i downloaded were from trusted sources or from github. did i get hacked? will elysium restore lost characters?

is it possible that my account is bugged and there is some troubleshotting steps i can take? pls help.

Silly question - but did you in fact check that you're logging into the correct Realm?

"Can anything be done?" No, if you got hacked or accidentally deleted them yourself, they unfortunately do NOT restore characters or items.

But since you deleted the wdb + wtf folder and you still don't see the characters, the only chance is that it's bugged on the elysium server side, a corrupted account. But that's VERY RARE. Only a GM could help you with that.

^ Indeed, check out if you are in the correct realm. And if you use more accounts, make sure you logged in to the right account.

Don't get what? Your account was logged into from multiple IP addresses, suggesting that the accounts security had been compromised and 2FA was not enabled; seems like a pretty straightforward case to me.

I know it's kind of a "told you so", but the game keeps repeating a broadcast to set up 2FA. Why are people not putting in 2 minutes of their time to do that?

Thats their own stupid mistake. Can't blame Elysium for that. It doesn't introduce any problems. Being dumb introduces other problems.

2FA is used for plenty of things ( I use it for multiple game accounts and emails ). People who lose their codes/delete recovery mails are plain stupid.

That's where I agree wih you, people are stupid indeed, they should all be purged from existence and their city of Stormwind should be leveled down as well.

You know I have done nothing but read irrelevant and unneeded replies to Help threads from you Jorn.  Please if you arent here to offer asssitance, and only here to Troll around at other's expense go elsewhere and do that.  These people are here with legitament questions and concerns and we are here to offer assistance when we can.

By the way, I start thinking about hacking into your account and deleting your characters next. Your attention and avatar picture tells me I'll find great treasures in there. Please, disable your toofa and set password to "aaaaaaaa". Then PM me your account name.
