Noobs!

Recommended Posts

What's with the NE Paladin on Kronos at #5? What kind of shenanigans are they pulling over there at Kronos.

I can only assume it is an error and/or edited log information.. just happened to be the first thing I noticed on that link.

Grats on #1!

edit: just noticed a Human Paladin that raids with a Horde guild.. seems like a paladin+shaman raid would be kind of OP in vanilla. WF + BoSalv!

I hope you realize that padding meters by tanking sacrificial skeletons isn't exactly accurate to DPS jin'do himself.  This can be seen if you filter the mobs in Kronos logs; therefore this is inaccurate in potential DPS for paladins.

If the mage actually took the job of AE'ing skeletons, your DPS would have been nullified completely if you killed jin'do on the sacrificial pit.

Evidence is in Kronos logs itself the mage single targeted the entire fight lol.

This is the equivilant to me putting on different Force Reactive Disks as they break, tanking suppression room and calling myself the top DPS on BWL trash.

@JCarrill0

When he titles it "Noobs!" and calls out other specs, it isn't a parade.  It's an epenn showing contest.

Because in retail Blizzard has since a very long time back brought up hybrid specs and attempts to balance them all equally. The game is also alot more pruned and the different classes/specs play out much the same. In vanilla, hybrids are still severely underperforming.

And with what was explained... they were being noobs.... and that's why he was able to top the dang....

so again he was raining on that parade....

let the man have his cake... he knows it was based on that... still his parade, let him have it... who cares about the rest...

Holy/disc hybrid priest preform better ful full holy....

reckadins hybrids out DMG even ret Paladins....

2h fury hybrid warriors can top charts...

hybrid mages have also been able to pull it off....

hybrid hunters ....

hydruid druid healers...

Hybrid warlocks...

yet hybrids under preform?

its based in the skill of the player as any version of the game

but what do you consider hybrid?

i consider anything splitting the talent tree and doesn't use the 31 talent specs...

something kike 25/26 or something like that...

not all primary tree tree spexs are top, in fact hybrids spexs out preform...

but again skillnif the players... always...

Your own definition of hybrid doesn't interest me. In this context the specs that are hybrids are the ones that aren't performing their main task which would be:

All paladins, druids, shamans and priests that aren't healing.

You could also call fury warriors a hybrid if you wish though they're not usually counted among them. They're obviously not an underperforming spec.

So to clarify: A ret paladin is a hybrid; a SM/Ruin warlock isn't.

If this doesn't suit your image of this game then you can easily replace the word "hybrid" in my post with "Non-ordinary raid specs", if that makes you feel better.

Oh so you mean support classes, not hybrid specs....

yes that is a difference, but Shaman are hybrids and they sore at healing as well as Paladins

i guess we we have our own definition and while you consider ret paladin a hybrid, your just saying theirnis cookie cutter specs and everything else is void, what a simple way to look at things ;)

No, the communtiy has it's way to look at things. That is the lingo that the players have developed in this scene. Ret paladin is considered a hybrid spec, if you disagree feel free to but in order to discuss things it helps when everybody is on the same page.

And you're wrong in your last sentence. Shadow priest is a hybrid as per the standard definition but still a part of a "cookie cutter" raid composition.

While I can agree to disagree, perhaps you have lost the point you were trying to make with me.

your busy talking about hybrid classes and their spec from a support class, while I was talking about hybrid talents specs.

again your definition and my definition which was already discussed.

if you feel you made your point, then I guess you have nothing left to discuss, as for me. I stood by what I said and I made my point.

rather you think my point is wrong vs yours is just our opinions which both have expressed....

so.... you have me at a loss when you continue, sorry

edit: I went back and read everything you have tried to explain to me. Yep I understood what you tried to explain. I see your opinion. That had never changed.

we have different views of what we define as what.. you just seem to think I'm wrong, which is fine ofc.

You can have some cake too :)
