Jeddite 9 Report post Posted April 19, 2017 Yes, we must prevent players from buying raid loot for gold -- because "GOLD SELLERS" and other irrational reasons/phantoms. /hur dur dur dur Jed!te
Dizeliun 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2017 GDKP's are the best means of obtaining gold as a high performanced / geared players. I used to run them on retail and its the best way for good players to make gold. It also helps the lower geared players obtain gear and a chance at getting into top guilds. Win-Win. The only downfall is that those new players most likely obtained their wealth from gold sellers. But that is a completely seperate issue. Whatever means the player obtained the gold by is soley on them. If they bought gold they should be banned. But this shouldn't prevent players from starting GDKP runs.
Garun 9 Report post Posted April 19, 2017 The problem with GDKP is that it creates a toxic environment for new players where the only real choice they have to get anywhere in end game is to farm gold instead of doing the pre-raid content, not to mention an exponential increase in gold sellers. Why join a lesser raiding guild that will take several months to get you decked out in epics (if they even get anywhere) when you can grind a few thousand gold to get the same gear in a GDKP run from one of the top guilds on the server? This will cause there to be a much higher demand for gold, which means that gold sellers will be able to make a lot more money.
Pottu 290 Report post Posted April 26, 2017 At this time there is no reason to block GDKP. Our player base is large enough that people have options - GDKP is not the only way to get raid loot.
