Increase ignore limit

Is there any possibility of Elysium increasing the number of players you can /ignore ?

Whenever I see gold sellers in trade or especially when they whisper me, I /ignore them. It generally seems to be a good way of dealing with them. However I have hit the limit on ignore list and after deleting everyone and starting again I'm getting more whispers from gold sellers.

Is there a way you could increase the cap on ignore? it seems pretty arbitrary to me and I don't believe this would affect the authenticity of the game to being true to the original vanilla game.

Oh really? Could you name some?

I have a huge pack of addons but don't know what they do, maybe there will be an addon in there that does it.

@arbetSpamthrottle works very well. I've had it since about 6 months after Elysium (the realm) opened and have never seen a gold spam since. You can use the interface to add key words and stuff to ignore in chat.

It's worth pointing out that the vast majority of gold spammers are muted within a few minutes, and their character lifespan is rarely more than an hour. If you are ignoring them then your ignore list is probably full of banned and muted characters.

Is there a way to just flat out automatically ignore level 10 characters in general? I have spamthrottle and keep tweaking the key words but some still get through, the overwhelming majority of which are level 10 characters.

@nemex one thing I did was to add color text to the ban list on Spamthrottle. That seemed to clear up a lot of gold seller adds because they like to use color text. Other than that keep trying different combos to get it right. I had to mess with the key word setting for a while to get all the spams to stop.

You should trim your ignore list once a week. Goldspammers get banned regularly enough that there is no point in keeping them ignored for days and days. Unfortunately we cannot increase the ignore amount but there are addons that mimic such a function, as pointed out by other posters.

But seriously, it is better to just clear the list once it gets full.
