LFG Deadmines! - Old Memories

Recommended Posts

:sparrow:

I feel the biggest thing I will love about all this is the old original dungeons/raids. Having to wait in a major city to find a group. Deadmines will be the most memorable for me.

What about you? What's your most memorable raid/event that you'll love to see again?

:D

Not an instance but raiding opposite faction cities was great. Sadly it died in Cataclysm with the introduction of flying mounts. Organising a vast number of people, often multiple 40-person raid groups, and all running across the barrens... that was awesome. Looking forward to doing that again.

Going into Deadmines as a Mage and rolling need on everything (even things I couldn't use) because my brother told me about "need over greed".

That is, until one of the group members told me to "STOP ROLLING NEED ON EVERYTHING YOU ваууING RETARD"

ahh, to be a noob again...

As for old things I'd like to see return...really, any of the things that I would want to return, will never happen in retail because they'd clash with Blizzard's current vision of the game.

Mine first best memory wasn't even of me playing but of the friend who introduced me to WoW. They were raiding Molten Core and when Ragnaros popped up from the lava.. I just knew this was THE game for me.

Is it LFG DM or LFG VC? I am in the latter camp but the Westfall debate rages on!

As i cant pin down "one best memory" i'll just add one of my favorites: Stealth Only Blackrock Deep - Tavern - Runs, only to get the Barkeeper Bottle. :)

I agree with you to a massive degree, its the small things we all miss and deadmins is so iconic, its definately one of the things im gonna enjoy the most. I think Mr. Smites original dialogue will be a big part of that.

Some other things i think that will give me the same kind of feeling is watching the original cinematic again, questing in searing gorge, heck even the way that gnomes cast and the sound a mechanostider makes when mounted will give me the nostalgia we all seek.

Obviously end game is a lot of it for me, i cant wait to clear ZG and MC in paticular.

well people still think you mean deadmines when you say dm east/west/north so the lowbies should know what vc is and call it vc. vc is the new name

Good to know which item i'll be farming once i hit 60. Played the german (iam german obv) version when i was a teen, cause my english was not up to par. Funnily i never aquired perdition blade, cause after a few weeks i had to switch to combat, making all the BRD Farm obsolete. *g*
