BestPristKR 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2016 I will be playing on the new fresh PvP realm as I see it only as an advantage . Fresh economy , fresh new guilds fresh new players ! I was just wondering if most people will be playing on the new realm , because low population can be a serious downside for a player like myself . So where is everyone playing and why ? Do you prefer to play your old character or start a new one and why ?
Tholren 7 Report post Posted November 28, 2016 I don't mean to be rude, but this forum has been over this thread several times, a simple search would certainly have led you to existing threads on the subject in which you could post. On topic; I expect that the fresh server will have the biggest population, naturally, as it presents a reset option, which is what everyone that isn't absolutely top tier and already dominating on the Old Nost server wants since it gives them a new chance at everything. Also vanilla players tend to be RPG lovers to actually enjoy feeling character development and thus don't mind leveling in return for a greater sense of achievement, they can also relate much better to their character if they see him/her grow. I say they, but I mean we, as I am part of this group. I can't answer for old character, since I have none.

meddlingmage 3 Report post Posted November 30, 2016 If you're worried about population in the least take a look around. Elysium PvP in and of itself is literally spawning YouTube channels trying to capitalize on the vanilla hype around the launch of this server. This server is going to be bigger than the original Nost and we all know how big that was. Yes, more people will play on fresh start than the other two servers IMO. No, there will be no hint of "low population"

No, there will be no hint of "low population" I actually feel there would not be as many people as Nos before... Don't know why... Maybe it is because there are two pvp servers now as opposed to before when almost everyone plays on a single server...
Pishy 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2016 It is going to be a stupid mess. Ols Nost PvP was a mess even months and months after release. Couldn't take it longer than lvl 17 then i switched to the PvE server and had a blast. Leveled to 51 then the shut-down was announced and everyone spamming about it in world chat - I came right out of ZF and it felt like a knife right into the heart. Nost PvE experience was even better than vanilla back then. I don't understand why people want a 15k+ pop server tbh. The world is simply too small for that in my humble opinion. Around 3k people seems perfect for old vanilla azeroth!

Around 3k people seems perfect for old vanilla azeroth! The point is... it is "fresh". At least thats my reason to start there. Would be awesome if the started a fresh PvE as well, but that might be too much (4 servers to start)
