Phantom 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2016 Just wanted to say I love the new logo Elysium now has. (See their twitter.) I really like the design, great work whoever made it! Also, it would be awesome to have it animated somewhere. However, all the tribal and miniscule details do make it more difficult to display the logo somewhere if you want a really small / monochrome version. But oh well. Also, the Runic text really looks like it has some kind of meaning. I get that feeling mostly due to one of the runes repeating (the sideways u). Anyone wanna try and see if we can crack the meaning behind the runes?! I've been looking up Runic languages in WoW, but so far I haven't found an alphabet that fits the icons on the logo. 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

It fits the overall legacy feel quite well but the typography is sloppy and I'm not really sure about the runes and what they add other than a bit of contrast. I doubt they actually mean anything either, it's probably just for aesthetic reasons. It needs a bit more brightness to lift it up a bit (could just be the background it's on). It will be lost when it is scaled down and won't work particularly well on certain applications. I'm not sure if this is just a logo for the fresh realm? Is it an overall style that will be implemented across all 3 realms or if a new website/forum is launched.
