Transfer Details & Information Timeline

Dear community,

 

As you saw in the video we released last weekend, we decided to launch both Nostalrius PvP and PvE realms at the same time. This decision is the middle ground of what is best for both the Project and the players. We want these two realms to be healthy and populated, as they embody the success of our legacy community. Additionally, we want to test our team, whom tripled its size, and be able to scale our support operations to meet the demand of players around the clock in a timely manner.

As some of you may have deduced, the fresh realm will not be available this year. The upcoming holidays mean that many of the staff (and players) will want to spend time with their friends and families. Because of this, we will need to delay the launch of the fresh realm until January. The exact release date of the fresh realm will be announced on the 25th of December.

 

Official registration and transfer

We will not be taking direct ownership of the existing Nostalrius database, but are transferring your characters from Nostalrius to Elysium. We have thought long and hard in conjunction with the Nostalrius admins on how best to perform the transfer process prioritizing the security of your personal information and ease of access. The reason for doing it this way is so that we never have access to your Nostalrius account’s private info, and there is no chance of anyone else getting a hold of it either. Let’s take a look at the steps in which the transfer takes place:

 

— Create a new account on Elysium website.

— Verify your email to go any further.

>  Transfer your Nostalrius characters:

— Obtaining a character token: Visit the Nostalrius Website and generate a token using either your username

    and password or username and email. If you choose the username & email option, the token will be generated to your email.

— Copy the token.

— Open the control panel while logged in to your Elysium account, and select the Nostalrius Transfer option.

— Enter the token.

>  Transfer your Elysium characters:

— Go to the Elysium transfer page in your control panel.

— Enter your old account’s username and password or username and email.

    Again. the latter will give you a transfer link in your inbox.

 

Please note that you cannot transfer characters from multiple accounts to one Elysium account.

Each token will require a unique Elysium account.

 

Last week

As we enter the last week leading to the release of the Nostalrius realms, we will disclose all information gradually in the follow schedule:

 

— Monday: Registration & transfer at 18:00 GMT+1

— Tuesday: Financial state

— Wednesday: Timeline to Naxxramas

— Thursday: Patch Notes 

— Friday: final Terms of Use

— Verify your email to go any further.  <for the whole process to work?  If so, we still aren't dealing with those pre-email verification accounts.

EDIT:  I get it, verify your newly entered email address for this process to work.

 

If you choose the username & email option, the token will be generated to your email. < where does the token go for those not using email selection?

 

So, this process works great for us folks whom didn't have email verification before.  It will get us verified.  Great.  So long as we remember our account details.  good deal.

No offense, but I'm going to go through the process and rewrite these instructions for guildies. : )

Does anybody know if you will be able to create multiple accounts (Elysium) using the same email-adress?

So Like:

Account1:

-Username1

-email1

 

Account2:

-Username2

-email1

 

And as we are requested to create completely new Elysium accounts, can I use the same email adress as my old Account, too?

Okay so: I got 1 old Nost account and 1 old Elysium account.

 

I need to create 2 new Elysium accounts. Guess both can have same email right?

 

Old Nost account goes to No. 1 new Elysium account via token generated on Nostalrius homepage.

 

Old Elysium account goes to No. 2 new Elysium account via control panel.

 

 

Is that correct?

OK you verify  an email address with Elysium.

 

Then you use your username plus either an email address or your password at the Nost website.

 

Is the email address you originally used to set up your Nost account the one to use here if you choose the email option? (Assuming it's different from the one you used to verify with Elysium.)
