Boy Level 30-40 Is Fun yes?

xD so I'm level 30 now, i was Doing Westfall>>Duskwood With a Bit of Redridge, then a little wetlands, then Hillsbrad, Then i went to Shimmering flats in thousand needles, And Omg, Got all these quests that are basically kill drop "Grinds" but the Drop rate on some of these, Omg, i spent probably a good hour kiling this one Scorpion i needed venom from, Still not one drop So i got annoyed went back to hillsbrad, sept all the quests available to me are level 35-38 Mobs, Yikes!, Managed to do a couple in arathi highlands but then came Level 35-37 Elite quests now I'm back to square one... I Don't remember having this problem years ago, But eh i'm not gonna complain, just gunna ask for suggestions

No quests quiet yet available to me in STV at rebel camp.

I Am to low level to enter Scarlet monestary, but BOY I CAN'T WAIT.

Duskwood, shimmering and stv should be enough quest for lvl 30+. Ye, shimmering flats quests can be a pain (especially the scorpid one), but the xp from the grind is a welcome gain to the leveling.

What I do is make a second character and level them one after the other while one is always in an inn getting rested xp. With mostly full rested xp you should be able to skip shimmering flats altogether

For 30-40, I switch between these zones:

 

Desolace

STV

Arathi

Hillsbrad

 

All of them have quests for low, mid, and high 30's.

 

That's what you have to do in Vanilla: quest in 2-4 different zones at once.

Where to go

Shuffle between Southshore, Arathi and STV. If you don't mind somewhat longer travel, at 35 go to Desolace.

Personally I like Shimmering Flats and go there with every character.  Good XP from the grind, good for leather if you're a skinner, the vendor trash is pretty good and you can build up a bit of cash.

 

I've never quite understood how people get bored with a grind.  I mean if I'm not killing scorpions, basilisks and turtles in Shimmering Flats then it's panthers and tigers in STV.  Ultimately it's all about killing mobs, so I don't really worry about which ones.

I personally prefer those quests, the grind of it gives really good exp too.

Don't skip the buzzard quest. It's a huge quest chain that yields a sizable amount of xp.

Though the rewards are nothing special, just a green int belt, or a stam/agi leather glove.

 

Load Lightening is pretty annoying to do because there are so few spawns for the mob. I usually skip it, along with the scorpid quest.
