I can't wait for the release, so these idiots will be proven wrong, and also leave our realm. We're tired of this dead horse of a topic, and all the idiots who think our realm is doomed. Nost PVP will thrive for a long time, even if it isn't the biggest realm anymore. If you want to move, then move, but stop acting like it's going to be a barren dead ghost town as a result; it will not. The world doesn't revolve around you, nor do MMO realms. It's this elitist all or nothing black or white mentality, where something is either highest/best/etc, or it's worthless. The world doesn't work this way. All of these realms will have a decent population. It does not matter which one is biggest.

 

So many of you folks are going to feel stupid after the release, and rightfully so. It reminds me of the folks who kept touting that our population was bots back during the original release.

This is an interesting sociological issue. It has always somewhat interested me why so many people feel the urge to justify their decisions (which require no justification at all) to strangers. Are they that indecisive? Uncertain of their own decision making ability? Guilty over their conclusions? What is it? Why the need to seek mass approval of their choices? They can't possibly know more than a few people here tops so how is their approval/disapproval so important?

I've been playing on Kronos until the servers are more stable and the realm is less populated. Kronos may be much lower populated than Nost, but it's far from dead. It's fun pvping against players my own level as I'm levelling through highly contested areas, and it's great not having to shock steal mobs that spawn to be able to finish quests, even in groups. I like higher pop servers, but cramming 10k+ people on one server is too much. That is not a vanilla experience, as the servers were capped well below that. Hopefully when people leave this server the community will get better too, but I doubt it. I could go play LoL and have a better experience with random people than I do here.

Sorry but K1 and K2 'died' when n0st came back. Sure there's a raid here and there but that's about it. Let's be realistic and ingenuous.

The 'highly contested' areas you talk about aren't anymore. Pretty sad but it is what it is.

It's called opinions.

Everybody have them and they can sometimes be felt strongly by the person.

 

Depending on personality, some people may want to share that opinion more than others.

 

It was pretty interesting coming to these forums (3 days or so ago). I'm all for new and have nothing negative to say.

I think I among many others feel like the old n0st is in the past and we're hungry for more.

When the new PvP opens there probably won't be any queues anywhere.  All the 'OMG FRESH' kids will run off and stab each other in their honeypot, PvE will be PvE, and Nost PvP will revert to the community it was before.  Everyone gets what they want, live and let live.
