[Addon] pfUI - An ElvUI inspired Addon entirely written from scratch

a suggestion. 

do you think you can add a feature to let the player frame fade out when not in combat or when not targeting something. would be really nice to have.

Any idea why my left chat frame only shows messages for half the pane?  I think this started happening when I upgraded to v1.6.

Hey Shagu,

 

thanks for the ui. I like it very much. In the beginning I had nameplates, but now they are gone. For me it seems configured correctly, but maybe I did something wrong. Can you help me with that and tell me what configure options must be activated to have the nameplates active..?

EDIT:

Sorry, i feel a little bit stupid right now, they work when I activate the wow ones. So pressing key key 'v' did the trick.

I just wanted to say that I really appreciate you making this addon! Its great! It really reminds me of ELVUI (like you mentioned) which is what I use on live! 

I did have a question about it though. Is there a way to show only enemy nameplates instead of showing all nameplate (ally and enemy)? I hate overcrowding of nameplates from friendly players and I can't seem to find any options to change that.

Edit: I figured it out, was in keybinding options. Now I figured out how to show only enemy plates :)

And second question in regards to nameplates, is it intended for the name plates to disappear after a short distance? I play a hunter right now and since I am ranged the nameplates dont normally appear unless I am closer. I don't know if that is a vanilla wow thing or if its something I can change in the addon?

I really like this UI, but it would be nice if we could use our own custom fonts.

Sorry, that came out wrong. I REALLY like the UI! Great work!

Edit: Not a bit trouble. I just replaced one of the default fonts with mine and it works fine.

Sadly in vanilla, you can't modify the range of nameplates.

Hi Shagu,  I've updated to version 2.0 but my chat frame still only takes up half the panel.  It scrolls and everything but just half the size of the panel.  I haven't messed with any heights.  Do you have any suggestions?

Did you finished the firstrun dialog? It's there to adjust every chat related stuff. (Can be reset in settings on "Reset Firstrun")
Also make sure to try without any other addon beside pfUI, might be a conflict. (Also make sure you're running at least 2.0.2)

I like the UI, but currently seem to be having a major issue. I used Bongos prior and disabled it after installing pfui.  However, I now only show the main action bar even in "Unlock" mode.  I have enable and disabled bars and tried other options, but cannot figure out what happened to the rest of the action bars. They show up fine if I re-enable Bongos or disable the action bar.  I tried resetting everything.   Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Trying to disable keybind text on action-bars, but can't find a way to do so in game.

Have instead changed actionbar.lua lines 454 and 494 from global-2 to global-12.

Is hiding actionbar keybind text a feature already? is it planned?

You can enable additional actionbars as you would always do: Esc -> Interface -> Enable the ones you want.

hey man hallo!!

i am using debuff timer and since last update i got double countodown on enemy debuff when i toss something at them. is there a way to disable the PFUI and keep the debufftimers ones?

nice i didnt know about /pfcast

 

would it be possible to make party frames resizable ?

and add a red frame around party members that have mobs agro on them?

and display buffs/debuffs that party members have?

 

also adding autoattack bar like http://www.vanilla-addons.com/dls/attack_bar/

but with simpler texture of just 1 grey line (like the one in quartz)

and also ability to reposition player and enemy cast bars :)
