Just now tried to login and it tells me my account has been closed can someone please help me with this

my account has been closed right before i got teleported to GM ISLAND and them telling me i bought gold??? wtf i never bought gold and i would love for them to show me proof

You would get more attention towards your concern by making a ban appeal.

I made a ban appeal yesterday, and today the topic is locked without an answer. The Account is still locked, so they havent fixed it yet....

They wont provide any proof. They've banned me + ALL but one of my irl friends (that's 7 of us in total), and none of us have had our ban retracted, and none of us ever did anything wrong in game.

This might be the biggest fuck up in private server history. Absolute joke and is costing them a whole lot of credibility and loyalty. Blizzard currently will be laughing at them for their inadequacy and mismanagement.

Sorry but, that's exactly how it seems. The number of people being banned that have done literally not one thing wrong is staggering.

I agree there are a lot of bans right now, but you have to agree that almost everyone that gets banned immediately tries to cover it up with "I haven't done anything".

 

A guildmate got banned too in this banwave and he was all like "I'm innocent" as well. Proven wrong by the staff :/

Yall shouldn't have bought gold. They don't have to give you proof. In fact, it would work against their ability to police this type of stuff. The more they tell people about how they gather their evidence, the easier it would be to circumvent the rules.

The Ban Appeal I made yesterday night is just gone! Wtf do they not wanna talk to me about it? I did nothing wrong and that is a fact. Why would they just delete my post without looking more into it?? This is ridiculous

They don't avoid your post, they don't delete your post.

 

Your ban reason might be something they need to discuss internally and thus moved the thread in the staff section.

 

If you're absolutely sure you had an appeal created, then just wait for them to get back to you. If they don't within the next 7 days, create another one.

The ban appeal is a joke I was watching bots die right next to me but I got banned for buying gold when I was working the system in my favor..

I understand where everyone is coming from and I do empathize with you that you may or may not have been inadvertently caught up in a ban wave. I may have replied to you in the past and if you do not like that response, please, post an appeal, with a link to your original post and we will give it another look over just to make sure nothing was missed.

In regards to the length of time taken to respond, we are caught up now within the last 24 hours, so it should not take that long to try and resolve or follow up on an appeal. I spent about 30 hours over my holiday weekend churning through as many as I could.

 

I am sorry that some of you were banned. But there are also a good majority of players not banned. We look into every ban and appeal manually. Even the ones that are automatic from the anti cheat systems. Everything is looked into and manually checked. There is a process and we take that process vey seriously.

It is absolutely impossible for me to sympathise with Gold Buyers. In fact, the only thing I can feel towards them is dysempathia.

It is beyond me how can you possibly sympathise with such people. I confess I feel sorry sometimes for crushing a cockroach with my boot but can't feel so for these people.

I have an active ban apeal for the last 24 hours or more. No answer yet.
But from reading on the forum, and talking to others, it feels like everyone gets the same response, "You were banned for X, the ban will not be lifted"
Since I dont know if people are innocent or not, I cannot say that its right or wrong. But since I cannot find one single person who's ban has been lifted in the last week, my hopes are low. I feel for all you others who were wrongfully banned. 

And to the goldbuyers/spammers and cheaters. thanx for ruining the game.

Ban appeals are private content, so obviously you would not see anyone whose ban has been lifted. Most likely those unbanned don't go back to post about it, they just go back to enjoying their game. If you are innocent, I very highly doubt you will be permanently banned. Have faith in the staff, they are working their best to assure everyone is issued fair judgment. No one has been wrongfully banned. Anyone who has been banned for goldbuying has associated in one way or another with someone that a mass majority of the players in the game avoid.

You may have been banned while being innocent, but your actions were perceived as no different than those of a rule breakers. Give the staff some time to distinguish you from rule breakers. If you are innocent, you have nothing to worry about.

It's more than likely a "Awww that poor sod is getting mad he broke the rules and unlike other servers that dont care or official servers that let it slide as it's more profitable to turn a blind eye and allow it to continue.   Wow he's going to have to live with consequences for his actions,  and has a chance to try again on a fresh account and learn from the mistake.    Poor guy,  having to deal with consequences and фекал now.  Hope he can handle it."   kind of sympathy.
