I am curious does GMs care @ all about ninjas?

Recommended Posts

Today I came across my first ninja on Elysium Nost.
x4 members  in the grp selected greed, this guy waited until everybody used greed. And when he saw everyone greeded he needs it.
And claims he´ll use it for PvE arms. We ask him to equip it and he refuses. He barely speaks english (Classic idiotic russian). Typing )) after every sentence.
After about 3 minutes have passed with the grp wondering wtf he is doing.. He starts to pull mobs and act  like nothing happened.. Obviously we did not help him kill the mobs, he gets annoyed  and leaves the party and says
"lol report noob)))) lol report for need ))))  lol ticket ))))"
He HS  and we get a new tank..

So back to my question, does GMs actually care one bit about these kinda behavior or is it brushed under the rug.

Obviously this item is not very price.. but it is the principle I am curious about. I´d rather not personally play on a server if I know that pug raids easily can ninja stuff with no actions taken..

Semi salty post but mostly curious if ninjas are allowed.

Allowed in vanilla, so should be allowed here aswell.

Back on retail vanilla we had one guy who was a notorious ninja. He never got to join a good guild again though.

Ninja style is part of vanilla experience. Got scammed? Use addons like opium, noteit, notes u need and other to put a tooltip on this guy and never ever group with him again. Spread the word in your guild and among your friends. Want fair loot distribution? Gather your own group, set master loot and decide what and how to share.

This is best part of vanilla wow. Leveling was long and painful, you had no service as name change, so if you were behaving as arse hole, eventually people will refuse to deal with you.

ROLL 'NEED' ON EVERY RARE OR EPIC BOE ITEM.

There is no reason not to do so.  You can always trade the item to another player (if you're feeling generous) or offer to sell it to them.,

More of a social thing.. I'd rather be banned by a GM than be shamed by the community especially when there isn't a name changing service.

No reason for GMs to get involved. If they had to arbitrate every little loot quarrel in-game, that's all they would do to the exclusion of everything else.

Unless you are running with friends or trusted guildies, roll Need on everything. Problem solved.

I know it's not the point, but his need roll was 98.

Of course still ignore the guy and never group with him again,

but I would just see it as a winning greed roll.

Its not against the rules. The community handles with that, as said from a few others

Naming and shaming was part of Vanilla WoW, and it's part of this server.  Your personal rep and your guild rep matters.  Safespace idealogy and cross-server play blurred that sort of thing over the years.

Take screenshots.  Fraps incidents of theft.  If you provide strong evidence the community will turn against the people you're incriminating.  We don't need the GMs to do this for us.  They have their hands full, anyway.
