queues are dynamic, you don't know what queue will be in specific time, you don't know how much time in real will take to enter. 5000 queue can be 4 hours and also can be 2 hours. Planning like that is not possible.

ofcourse i keep an eye open on the queue if it is fast or slow

I'd call this "Schrodinger's Plan", just because it works and it doesn't work at the same time.

The underlying issue is really simple: Too many people want to play at the asme time. Sure, you can try to be sneaky and cut the queue somehow (teamviewer), and it kind of works. But it still doesn't solve any of the issues on a bigger scale, as if everyone did that, we'd just be back to square one.
Plus, leaving your  computer up & running all day every day when you leave for work in the morning, just so you can remote login in the afternoon, kind of .. sucks.

So sure, this tip kind of works for the individual player, but not as general advise to "the working population who want to play on Elysium"

Crossbreed well right now it is the best solution for the individual. 
And no it is not a general solution for everbody. 
 

 

however i hope they will open a realm similar to this one FAST but with crossrealm pvp battlegrounds :)

Fool? Ok.. I work from 9-5, I live alone..... How do i log myself in at 15:00?? If i, somehow, mangageto be in 2 places at once and log myself in at 15:00-16:00 what's to say i'll be back in time to make sure i don't get booted form being AFK in the character log in??

Why do you insist on playing on a server if you know that you can't be in a queue for 2 hours?

The answer seems pretty simple and logical - try a different realm/provider

@OP  like many of others have stated simply play on Nost PVP server.   I have a full time job, 3 kids, wife and the works myself.   My casual time to play outside of my set raid times which is my personal time late night Fri/Sat, is around 1 to 1.5 hours at most.  Not even enough time to get half way through the queue on Ely - PVP server at the moment.

If and when you do get a chance to log on and get to level 20, people will already be level 60.

I started an alt the other day as farming raid consumables at 60 can only entertain you for so long, and my casual playing time being small.    My alt I too made on Nost PVP, I can't do a multi hour queue so I can farm Molten Core with bad loot tables for 7 months.

While our guild runs late night US times on weekdays, we also have a Friday / Saturday night 10:30 EST raid nights scheduled for the people that can't invest long amounts of time during the weekdays.

By the time you sat through 2 Ely queues you'd be level 12+ on Nost PVP.  If down the road you decide you want to make an Ely toon, go for it.   It isn't like you are going to be anything server first and farming 1 raid for over 7 months isn't super fun and puts you in an unfavorable situation when comparing gear supply vs demand since every toon needs every little drop atm.

This may be true. But you're waiting for people to give up and not play the game they want to play.

While this is functional for the persistent player. It's also very wrong.

I want Nostalrius/Elysium to be a statement. A huge sign for Blizzard, so they feel the pressure to make official legacy servers.

And to do that we need everyone, that wants to play, online playing vanilla.

We need another server.

 

Saying they should just play on Nost PvE or Nost PvP is not right either.

Because most of the players came out of hiding when Elysium PvP launched.

They been waiting for the fresh server.

 

There are 10k players in queue as I type this. And who knows how many more that canceled their login attempt the moment they saw the huge queue.

That's more than enough to fill another fresh server and we'll probably still see a queue.
