Cooperbaws 1 Report post Posted January 19, 2017 How come the instance exp is so low? It's like you don't really want to do instances, only if you have quests in there it's worth your while... :/

Ill kill mobs of boars for exp before I run an instance for it. Instances are good to complete quests, yes, but also for rare item drops. You might have to run the same instance 10 times to finally get the drop you want. best of luck.
suhail1200 3 Report post Posted January 19, 2017 Even when u group up to kill mobs u gain very little xp.This is why if the quest is easy and soloble , it is better to do it solo so u gain decent xp from mobs. Leveling up to 60 u hardly need to group up.Only for dungeons and some boss mobs or escort.

Newts 6 Report post Posted January 20, 2017 The only time you'll possibly instance grind is SM - just get a group and enjoy a fun-filled night! Otherwise grab your loot and get the hell out of there...

I played Vanilla and I remember that the exp was much better because I used to boost my characters with my friends 60 mage. Bad exp in a dungeon is not part of Vanilla but I think they maybe chose to not have a higher exp rate in dungeons just because of that people should not boost their characters (Because it ruins the experience of Vanilla)

Cooperbaws 1 Report post Posted January 20, 2017 Well, you get about the same exp when you have 5 persons in the group as when you have a level 60 with you.
gotmilk0112 10 Report post Posted January 20, 2017 No, you really don't. You get much more. Even so, with a group of 5 around your level, you will get around 10-15% exp from clearing a dungeon. It has always been like this.
