You seem to be missing the point entirely, killerduki. Either that, or you're Chinese and mad you can't use your VPN anymore. I'll break it down for you so it's easier to understand.

1. It's not racist to assume the farmer/seller is Chinese, because it is most likely true. It's not just WoW they use as a monetary opportunity. Job options and pay are very limited for non-skilled workers in that country. Digital goods and services are a BOOMING business. You can find video interviews with some farmers/sellers, go Google.

2. The government of China banned the use of non-authorized VPNs, not Elysium. They don't even use the same WoW client as US and EU. Go cry to them instead about laws.

3. Saying only US players buy gold is astoundingly ignorant, especially considering a vast majority of private server population is European.

That said, I find the gold spam annoying, but they ARE just trying to do their job and put food on the table.

And blaming Americans or anybody in general for buying the gold, therefore being the root of the problem, is ignorant. That would be like blaming a drug epidemic on an addict. It not their fault it is there. In the case of goldselling, the source can reasonably be shut down and if it was, there wouldn't be spam right?

I got to say, its been quieter the last few days. Seems like that VPN ban in china did the trick. OP - Before you go getting all SJW on us with it being racist or how its the fault of America for buying it, please show me a single instance of a known gold spamming site that isn't connected to China that spams on Elysium and any or all of their servers?

As an American i can say i've never bought gold, even after losing my chars on live and on other servers. Personally can't say alot of Americans i know do it, normally just end up getting banned, Hm... Now that i think about it the people i knew who bought gold, i think it was maybe 4 in my total wow life that i  was buddie with, must of been... Aus C.A and i think one was Dutch. Let's all blame them because that's a real great idea. As much as i love raceism Duki bro, you gotta sell it right. 

 

 

Edit : Man that sucks about the ban for VPN to China by there goverment, I knew a lot of sweet Chinese dudes over on Warsong years ago. Real shame to loose good players, not that where you come from or what you are should mater on a pointless video game.

Well that's just wrong its IN effect until march 2018 not starting march 2018. That being said there's still tons of chinese players playing so I don't really see how effective the ban was.
