Bcz on most servers you can't strafe and stabbing mob directly in face. That's why.

You just stand inside monsters model and strafe from one side to another while spamming backstab.

Never tried strafing inside the mobs hitbox, have to try it. I used gouge often. My experience is, that it makes sense to skill dagger coldblood for high pvp areas such as Stranglethornvietnam.
