The server is unstable and laggy, are we still getting DDOS?

agree, its time for an update, we got a statement it should be fixed within 1-2 days. Now 2 days have passed and we havent heard anything.

Can we please get some info if you guys are able to do anything about this? 

Can we as a community do anything to help? Donate money to host on more ddos safe servern or something?

The complete silence from the team's end is starting to look pretty bad right about now. It seems we truly are getting the Nostalrius experience.

Not excatly sure what "lag" you guys are talking about. People in EU aren't complaining. Servers are close by so the latency is probably pretty good. Meanwhile here in Cali, a whole ocean and continent away, I also have 0 complaints about lag.

 

Some suggestions to help: rearrange your electronics to help signal strength. Stop using a potato.

This game is about 12 years old... if you bought a computer 13 years ago and cant play this, maybe its time to upgrade.

They posted recently on twitter, not that it is super helpful, but it does say 'formal update coming' so there may be hope for more answers for you!

only Elysium PvP has this problems the other 3 server hasnt this issues, thats why only a part of the players has this problems.

 

Elysium isnt viable to playing atm.

all 5 minutes dc and constant 1-2 seconds of delay

I've given up on progressing any of my toons at this point, it's way too frustrating. Can't cast, heck you can't even run without rubberbanding and disconnecting ever 30 seconds. Now I just camp out in spots where I can cause trouble, die a few times, log off.

You should look at their twitter if you want fresh updates for the servers. That's not the first time that they said the server is getting ddosed.

I keep getting stuck at "Authenticating" then disconnect.

 

Then when it actually lets me in, the second that the game world loads, I get disconnected again.

 

4 times now, I select a character, go through loading screen, Orgrimmar appears and then I get instantly d/c'd.
