szuszak 2 Report post Posted February 23, 2017 (edited) player Mass on elysium should be ip banned from this server for his shady behavior http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/mmo-trading-market/world-of-warcraft-buy-sell-trade/wow-private-server-buy-sell-trade/608745-elysium-rank-10-orc-warrior-100-mount-pre-bis-raid-gear.html player in question is also involved with the latest drama where GM was offering to sell loot to a horde guild http://imgur.com/clCGquN i don't know where to report this stuff etc so i send a msg to couple gms (since there is no report hacker sections) but ppl like this should be ip banned and their accounts deleted Edited February 23, 2017 by szuszak
gotmilk0112 10 Report post Posted February 23, 2017 (edited) I'm still a bit suspicious of that screenshot. When a GM contacts, you, it looks like this: <GM><Name>: As seen here: http://i.imgur.com/MQLdHPC.jpg But in that screenshot, it shows up as: GM -- <Name> A bit strange. Mines is GM - <Name> aswell as the guy printing the screen. Nevertheless its easy af to fake screenshot things. Find out a GMs name and paint/photoshop the rest, ggwp
Divine88 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2017 Screenshot came from top Guild on Horde GL. It also depends on what UI you are using. The fact that the character is actually for sale and seems like it was boosted, isn't too far fetched.
Revo 34 Report post Posted February 23, 2017 i dont see how offering your account for sale is violating the ToU. whats illegal is the process of sale. so if you were smart, you wouldve handled this secretly with the GMs untill the account was actually sold further, its pretty easy to fake such character sale threads.

Offering it is not against the rules.....but the GMs would likely ban you anyways since you're conspiring to violate the ToU. Just like how conspiracy to commit a crime is illegal.

I mean, if I really wanted to get someone banned, that seems like a great way to do it according to you.
Jakira 22 Report post Posted February 23, 2017 Going to go ahead and lock this thread as this has already been stated and restated countless times already. This was already discussed ad nausam before by Tyche as well. The GM in question, who was already removed from the staff, never had access to loot table changes and only the highest GMs (higher thank R3) could actually spawn objects in game. Which of course there are logs of all of that as well. Secondly, only devs have access to the loot table. In order for loot to be changed, you would have had to bring down the servers, change the tables, then bring the servers back up which would then drop the same loot for every single person who was in the raid instance at that time. The GM in question never had the ability or the power to do what he claims he could have done and this GM was using staff rank to have leverage on the GM of the guild.
