When I was playing on the nostalrius server, there was also Donate to help the server 1 time, and they showed those who donate, all the checks where this money went and what. I'm not sure that these "honest" russians will do the same

Nostalrius was shut down 100% volutarily by Nostalrius-staff in an act of good will in order to build a working relationship with Blizzard. As someone else already has pointed out, OVH hosts TONS of other servers like this and Blizzard lacks both the legal pull and actual will to even be bothered.

Now THAT would actually put them in legal jeopardy. Hosting a private server for free is legal, or at worst in a legal grey-area. Charging for the service would instantly make it impossible though.

That is the scary part, many in my guild already want to transfer to Elysium because Anathema feels like a  lab rat server where they trying to make this new core with the partnership they engaged.  

Ofc the recent ddos attacks play its part as well even if its beyond elysiums control but it has been little to much problems recently.

But time will tell, just now i just want to be able to play!

im holding off a few days at most if the server is not back up im done

No point in relving on a diff server ely and zeth is no where close to the same timeline as ath server and the other is pve.More power to any one that willing to wait another year or so for aq be my guest lol if the servers even last that long
