TTL 6 Report post Posted May 3, 2017 I would like to see Elysium breathe some life back into the Ironfoe for PvE, for such a low drop rate weapon it's quite a shame that is has to compete against the Dal'Rend set. Rogue Sword Spec gives you a 5% chance per weapon for a double swing, the Dal'Rends has higher top end to buff sinister strike + 50 AP bonus/1% crit. Ironfoe gives you I'm guessing between 6-8% chance per swing to proc a tripple swing, even with this and the lack of top end/ap bonus/1% crit it struggles to compete with Dal'rends. Now I know Ironfoe use to have a 18% proc and was wonky with windfury back in retail that made it incredibly overpowered, I also know Blizzard nerfed it but I really think it's nerfed into being nearly useless for it's rarity. I don't have all the data here but I'm sure people can post it or confirm that it's no amazing weapon over Dal'Rends + sword spec in it's current state. Is it due to flurry and execute? - Mace spec sucks in PvE for rogues. - Warrior damage scales up from rage which in turn scales up damage again. The extra hit procs generate more rage which in turn generate more damage which generate more rage. It's a circular scaling. Add worldbuffs and consumables to this and it becomes a very very VERY powerful warrior weapon. And yes, the procs can indeed proc flurry aswell. 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
