Queue at 9k

Admins, get real. The queue should be not at 9k. It should be at 6k. This server cant hold anything above that number, at 8-9k its just unplayable. Everything takes 2 seconds to trigger. Queue is to solve lag problem, if it doesnt, why even put queue?

It's pretty clear that Elysium has way too many people. I wonder if capping the server at 6k pop would even help at all: you fix one problem, another one pops out since the players in queue will complain about how long they have to wait to play the game.

Don't you think that allowing people to transfer from Elysium to Anathema/Darrowshire would help this a lot, while also giving Anathema some players back? (there multiple players asking this because they hate the lag, they're tired of waiting for more content or even because of the TBC announcement)

I suggested opening transfer to Anathema long time ago. Their excuse for not doing so was that servers are at different patch. But seriously, who cares about what patch there is when Elysium is overcrowded and unplayable while Anathema is pretty much deserted.

That is not true. The game is perfectly playable at 9k, there is no noticable ability delay.

Personally I'd like to see an increase in the queue max. size. The large amount of players makes the world feel very alive. It's fun to meet people everywhere (to either talk to them or to do world PvP).

No one forced all you hippies to roll on Elysium instead of Anathema. We told you to roll on the smaller realm. But like puppies following the crowd, you went there anyway, and now you get what you get, a realm that's laggy as hell, and queued up on the login screen. We keep seeing people in "our" world chat complaining that they can't get into Elysium, but at the same time refusing to play on Anathema, and saying no one should.

Yes transfers would help everyone, but the players are to blame for this situation in the first place. Stop dogpiling onto what is already the biggest realm and go to the smaller ones. There's no reason why you shouldn't start on Anathema. We literally PUG raids every week and could carry your ass to full epics.

Everyone is free to roll wherever they want, and if they want to roll on Elysium instead of Anathema because of the population, so be it. But if you're going to complain about lag/crashes, overcrowded zones and insane ganking, then you're simply a fool (Not referring to older players on Elysium, just the ones who join there recently).

Why would any one want to roll in the smaller server? Full epics? Get real.

All of this is why I went for Darrowshire. (and also that I don't PVP)

Any online gamer, casual or hardcore, should know that the more people you have playing on a server the slower that server will become... there's just only so much processing power to go around.

Right now, at 8:30 am Pacific, this is the status of the 3 active servers... it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that Elysium is going to be laggy compared to the others.
