A combat analyzation tool

 

What is DPSMate?

DPSMate is not only a meter which shows numbers of the raid, such as damage done, damage taken, dispells etc., it is moreover an analyzing tool to review the raid or the previous fight as accurately as possible. This data can help to improve the gameplay or to judge better over someones performance.

Mentionable features of DPSMate

Frame:

- Several frames, allowing to show different modes at the same time

- Resizable, allowing to adjust it to the interface

- Fully costumizable by using the configuration menu

Modes:

- ~40 different modes

Some of them are:

- Healing and Absorbs (Effective healing and Absorbs)

- Deaths, recall your or someones death

- Dispells, showing everyones dispells including hot dispells such as Abolish Poison

- Interrupts, including stuns and silences

- Auras (Gained, Lost and Uptime)

- Compare mode

- etc.

Misc:

- Several Segments (Total, Current, and previous fights)

- Synchronizing, to guarantee accurate data

- Report function for every mode and everys player data

- An own evaluation site to compare to revamp the raid and compare to other guilds: Legacy Logs

- And many more...

Download and install:

1. Download the addon folder here.

2. Copy the content of the folder into your Interface/AddOns directory.

3. I recommend to increase the addon memory to 150 mb.

4. Remove DPSMate.lua and DPSMate.lua.bak in your WTF/Account/YOUR ACC NAME/Kronos/YOUR CHAR NAME/SavedVariables/ (if you had DPSMate installed before)

5. I recommend to disable SW_Stats.

6. Add these lines to your WTF/config.wtf:
SET CombatLogRangeParty "150"
SET CombatLogRangePartyPet "150"
SET CombatLogRangeFriendlyPlayers "150"
SET CombatLogRangeFriendlyPlayersPets "150"
SET CombatLogRangeHostilePlayers "150"
SET CombatLogRangeHostilePlayersPets "150"
SET CombatLogRangeCreature "150"

 

Legacy Logs:

Legacy Logs is an world of logs-like evaluation site, using DPSMate to give you an indeph analyzation of your raid. I will make an extra thread for it on the forums as well.

Please check it out, I would be very happy to see some logs from Elysium!

Ending Words:

This mod is still under heavy development, so check it frequently for updates. The Legacy Logs Launcher will update the mode automatically if you start it.

Please report any bug if you encounter one, I need this feedback very much!

Build 58:
- Fixed total dmg done and dmg taken modes
- Improved performance and active time of total dmg done and dmg taken
- PieChart improvements. It is now properly hoverable
- Fixed some issues with the dmg done compare mode
- Implemented following compare modes:
- Dmg Taken
- EDD
- EDT
- Healing done
- EHealing done
- Overhealing done
- Healing taken
- Ehealing taken
- Ohealing taken

This will be a tough week :o

Build 59:
- Added ALL remaining compare modes
- Added a mechanic to determine the amount of absorbs better
- Added spell school tracking to improve absorbs tracking
- Bloodfang proc is nolonger being tracked twice
- Fixed Buff start and end tracking
- Changed overtime tooltips to its real purpose (DPS f.e. shows now the dps of the abilities and not the dmg)
- npc deathdata and buff data wont be collected anymore
- Restorative potion should not track dispels for others anymore
- Fixed ability display for magic, curse etc. only
- Friendly fire will be tracked in the death history now
- Fixed some report issues, all channels should be displayed now
- Threat should now properly sync
- Fixed party reset in sync
- A bunch of bugfixes that I can't remember anymore

- Implemented UI Scaling
- Fixed the buff tracking timers hopefully now
- Dropdown menus should now be always reset to their default settings

Build 61:
- Added ALL total modes
- Fixed some parsing issues
- Fixes interrupts on heals
- Fixed hot dispel overwrite mechanic
- Fixed potion dispels only self
- Tuned up syncing again: Requires Kronos core after 30.08.2016
- Added scaling mechanic for evaluations
- Fixed some bugs for compare evaluations
- Made graphs more precise
- Fixed Dropdown menu style change
- Buff start and end should be fixed now
- Lots of bugfixes

This is the last build where I add features. From now on I will only fix bugs.
Consider this as the finishing of this project.
Project start: 11.09.2015
Project end: 29.08.2016
Development time: 352 days

When all bugs are fixed, I will start the upport to TBC. So please report all bugs and issues that you find asap.
It was a pleasure making this addon for you guys.

- Fixed HotDispelSync error
- Updated toc
- Pet interrupts merge now with the owner if the option is enabled
- Individual active time is now a little more accurate
- Fixed interrupt tooltip
- Absorb ticks can no longer be higher than the absorbtion value of the shield itself

Greetings great work on this Addon! Is there a way you could add some customization scaling for open details solo and comparing? I'm having trouble doing it via a script as the settings go away each time I re open a detail and I'm forced to press the script again and have a separate script when I'm comparing 2 details.

Hi Shino, I really like your addon. I have a question about modifying the appearance.

 

Here is what it currently looks like.

What's bothering me is the small gap between the title bar and main window. Is there some way to remove that? I would also like to add a border around the entire frame. Similiar to what KTM has on the otherside, a very thin, but distinct black border that makes it clearer to see the edges.

@Killerduki, did you try the Java version of the launcher? If you install the latest JDK it should work. With version 25 it should be contained in the Client.zip

 

Also Build 83 (or 82?) is out.

By the way:

If there is a need for any translation apart from german, english and french. Feel free to hit me up if you'd like to invest a day or two to translate the addon.

 

Possible languages are chinese, spanish and russian I think.

doesnt it req. a full translation of parser text? this may last longer then a day xD

Hello Shino , i have problem with Launcher :( . It doesn't load on Win XP 32 bit .

 

Any solution ?

I have the same problem on Win10 64 bit, however the java version works fine so stick to that.

I to had that error an hour ago, but i think the server was down or something (no idea), works fine now.

Maybe you need the java thing OP mentioned?

 

I'm adding a screenshot of the java file i use (highlighted gray).

Only one that works for me.
