Papertank 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2017 Im not referring to myself using both. i mean if for example, im using dps mate yet others in raid are using swstats. does the sync make it bug out or no? ALso 1 issue we had in the past, i may be able to try to find the LL data, but when we went to upload a raid, it got merged into a gnarly raid, they both were separate raids yet all fell under same "LL Raid data" yet there were none of same ppl in each raid. was yet another bug i noticed as well. was this a common thing?

First, I know, just wanted to explain why people might think that, so NO. Second. No, it is not a common thing, I actually don't really know why they got merged.

Ayeri 6 Report post Posted March 20, 2017 (edited) Hello Shino \o/ Quick question i'm asking publicly here. Is the "data reset" the addon is asking on various conditions actually purging all the data, hence not making it able to upload to legacy logs ? Because right now, after an intensive run, my data was like 8mo, i couldn't login without crashing, had to turn off DPSmate in order to actually be able to log. Would it be possible to have some sort of data ditch, like the LLsave (which is i guess for armory ?) but for DPS data ? With maybe data sessions and stuff ^^ And has pretty much everyone is saying, thank you for this addon ^^ Edited March 20, 2017 by Ayeri
Shino 27 Report post Posted March 20, 2017 You couldn't login without crashing meaning, it crashed or you just disconnected cause too long? The size of compressed was 8mb o: Maybe try to log out every instance :P In LLSave all DPSMate data is saved as well. Not really sure what you actually request :>
Malga 1 Report post Posted March 20, 2017 I would like to know if something has been modified on the record resetting condition since the last version. My ideal setting is to reset the record after each encounter. But since the last version, the record never stop after each mob of a raid (even if I push the reset button) and I can't see my performance on a specific mob / boss because all is merged. I am not sure that it's an addon bug... maybe the problem is located between the chair and the screen... but I just want to be sure that everything is working properly.
Shino 27 Report post Posted March 20, 2017 Hmm, nothing I can think of. Make sure to select current and the correct settings in the general settings:
Malga 1 Report post Posted March 20, 2017 Thx Shino I confirm that the problem was located between the chair and the screen. :-)
Sanger 1 Report post Posted March 23, 2017 Any idea why DPSmate still isn't syncing correctly? When an individual uploads to LL and a second person uploads to LL the numbers change, shouldnt it be the same if it were syncing in between these two or even 6 people for accurate numbers? Also last week my raid uploaded but didn't get merged it just did nothing. Also there are atleast 6 people in our raid using DPSmate, but when one person uploads to LL the numbers are way off and only shows 30 people in the raid. Again a syncing issue.

Apart from the memory dump pause every few minutes, I've never noticed any lags. Just the above issue i commented on.
Alrik 6 Report post Posted March 23, 2017 This is for Anathema: Our guy that uses it for testing was in contact with you, he tested many versions including the latest one yesterday. I knew immediately that he uses the Addon again because at Razorgore i got 0 FPS Stutters again. Like literally 0 FPS / Screen Frozen for 2-3 Seconds. In Surpression Room many of us aren't even able to AOE because as soon as someone starts your Screen freezes for 3-4 Seconds straight. 1 Guy using the Addon causes the whole Raid to get this Problem. If he turns it off, everything is immediately smooth. It really can't be the PC Specs for the people that get this problem. My Specs for example: i7-3770k @ 4.7GHz 32GB Ram AMD 390x Playing WoW from a SSD (Samsung Pro)
Shino 27 Report post Posted March 23, 2017 I wonder. It really can't be only DPSMate that is causing the addon, because literally noone else is reporting such issues in the raid. Maybe some other addon in combination with DPSMate causes these lags. cheers!
Alrik 6 Report post Posted March 23, 2017 Well, if the guy using it logs out, deactivates DPSmate and logs back in the Lag is gone for everyone.

Yeah so as he says, it might be a combination. Anyways, I remember having similar issue on Nostalrius 1.0 for fights like Razorgore and Vaelastrasz when I had bigwigs/vendetta enabled. I can't remember which version of Bigwigs/Vendetta it was however both of them was downloaded from github. Maybe try to disable either of those addons for the fights you lag on and see if that solves anything. Edited March 23, 2017 by Cruzix
Alrik 6 Report post Posted March 23, 2017 Thats an absolutely great idea to deactivate BigWigs. I just get a couple of Stopwatches that i press to taunt a Wingbuffet at the correct time. We had different People with different UIs and Addons use DPSmate and it always lagged like hell. As said, if you AOE 50 Whelps your Screen freezes for 3 Seconds straight.

Nobody ever said anything of it being a "great idea" to disable bigwigs or addons alike, but it's not like it's easy for Shino to pin point the issue with the small amount of information you've given so sharing a theory from my own experience on Nostalrius might be helpful... Besides disabling bigwigs for one single fight in BWL (You mentioned Razorgore, which is a pinata boss) or other ways of testing what is causing the issue shouldn't be problem for you if you really want this to be fixed in the near future >.< Edited March 23, 2017 by Cruzix
Alrik 6 Report post Posted March 23, 2017 Don't get me wrong, i'm madly in love with the Addon itself and Legacy-Logs since its so in depth. But we tried various Things, various combinations on different Systems and it always ended up the same way. I can't wrap my Head around how this Addon collects SO many Data that it literally freezes the Game for 30-35 People. Looking a bit into how DPSmate works i think it just clogs the Addon-Communication Channel InGame that is used for, for example SwStats Sync. (Yes, the guy using DPSmate had SWstats disabled, other people had it of course enabled since you need to be able to upload your Raids to Realmplayers)
Shmigy429 1 Report post Posted March 23, 2017 Have any of your recent fixes helped with the data collection slow downs? Another question, are the data collection sets shared? (For example) : Full raid data set collected on my Mage, don't clear on logout, switch to Hunter and start grinding away; seems like I get some lag here until I reset the data on my hunter.

It is not needed for legacy logs anyway and should solve the issue. You are absolutly right there, though I have no clue why that happens on Anethema. 7 minutes ago, Shmigy429 said: Have any of your recent fixes helped with the data collection slow downs? Build 100-107 have been optimization. No they are not shared, you can set in the datareset options to clear the logs on logout
