This should really not be an issue. No clue what causes it :/ Works fine locally.

You can upload your save here, maybe I can troubleshoot over time the issue.

Not sure exactly what caused it, but DPS mate suddenly stopped showing my dps. Or including me in the meter in any way. Just myself though. Tried two different versions including the most recent just now. In a raid it shows everyone but myself. Is this an issue with anyone else? I know for a little while the logger was having issues with the folder being read only, despite it not being read only.

I also am experiencing a problem where I don't show up on the meter. But I show up on other peoples. I noticed this during our raid, and during a 5 man i was doing.

hey thanks, I was not sure it was related to DPS mate :-)

There is no file for our last MC raid on the 25.5 in the folder, the other logs in there are older than that.

One more thing i noticed, when i exit the game and launch it again, DPSMate is completely empty and the logs ingame are gone.

I disabled the option to reset the stats when i exit the game. I am not sure if it did that a couple of weeks back though.

Another thing, the client update 2-3 weeks ago created the problems with uplading logs already.

When i launched the game through the "LL Client" i received the following window: "please remove the read only flag from your wtf folder".

That windows disappeared with the last Client update, but the upload did not work with both versions of the client.

I hope you can work with that information :)

So while the logs don't show up on the main site, it apparently was uploaded but with errors on duration https://www.legacy-logs.com/Vanilla/Raids/Evaluation/index.php?rid=11818

It's showing the total raid duration as 00:00:01min, Also, I was there the whole raid but I am not on any meter. (we finished off domo/rag because of the lag on Thursday, so it's correct in showing just two bosses.)

The server did crash 30mins before our raid just after i started LL with the launcher. I then restarted LL once the server came out just to eliminate any issues. I'm not sure if the server crashes have some effect , because it seems to be happening lately if the server crashes?

Not sure what a server crash causes. Normally it should not effect anything. Can you give me a sample log file to look into, with such an crash ?

 

@Flinty, I am not sure if readonly is an issue there or not. You can try to remove the readonly flag from your folder (Make sure to also apply readonly to all subfolders and files)

Apparently it has something to do with the compression algorithm. Will look into that.

Thats what i did when i encountered that error, but could not resolve it on Windows 7, the folder was never readonly regardless :)

But that error did not appear again since the update last week.

I guess we will try to upload now witht the new version and hope it got resolved.

Are we still required to log out after clearing MC before Ony? I've tried a few times in the past and the whole MC clear isn't uploaded, just Ony. Or is this something only I experienced?

I want to use this addon but It won't load into my addon list in game. No errors. No crashes. It's not showing up :/

Extract all the folders inside DPSMate into your "AddOns" directory.

I've put all of the DPSmate folders into my addons folder, but it's un usable. The dpsmate is yellow border with a grey background and none of the drop down menus in the config window work. I also can't click on any of the other options in the config window

So we just finished Molten Core, after i quit the client, i got the "uploaded" window.

But there is nothing on the website and once i got back into the game the logs are gone.

There are no logs in the "LLSave" folder either.

The logs should not disappear, after i enter the game again, right?

Somehow, editing is not working :( sry for double post.

I found the logs created for the last raids, but they are all around 5 KB in size, compared to the actual logs that are on the website, those are over 1 MB.

Even those that were created for our MC and Ony raid today are that small.

If you need to know anything else, tell me :)

Hey!

Please try to use the java version of the launcher for now. I don't know really what causes this issue. But I am going to work on it when I find time next week!

Remove DPSMate.lua and DPSMate.lua.bak from your savedvariables account and character.

If you have around 40 folders extracted into your addon folder, it should appear in the addons section at the login screen.

Maybe you need to activate it.

What happened to being able to filter out the two dog adds on Golemag? Used to be able to filter the two dogs out to just see boss damage, it's been like this for a while now actually. Just wondering are you able to reverting it back?

Yep on legacy logs. I remember awhile ago being able to filter out the dogs from the Golemag encounter to just show the dmg done to the boss, but it doesn't show the dogs to separate them anymore.

Go have a look at every golemag encounter on legacy logs, the two adds are never specified for some reason.

I fixed the launcher issues people had recently. The upload should work once again!
I am terribly sorry for that!

love it but unfortunately im so tired of crit errors all the time. Ive tried new versions of it still its always crit erroring when logging out. Its not all the time it does this but its enough to be annoying af. Its just not worth it.

Is there a way to manually upload the logs ? Register but couldn't find it. Wouldn't that be easier for you instead of creating an entire launcher ?
