German and pinned Legue of Legends. I bet you are a saltmine.

 

EquipCompare? Is that when you mouse over something and it shows you the stat differences?

EquipCompare just shows some exstra stuff, like 0.1 crit increase etc, just pretty much for lazy people like me Stubby is for Auctioneer, helps with scanning the ah as far as i know.

Im too old to waste my time on getting salty. Atleast i feel that way. 

 

I made my addons on retro-wow its a insta 60 server where u get full blue gear etc freely. Good way to test stuff.

Anyone know if the guy who did V Que or whatever that group finding addon is around? tell em to make a post here, I saw Luna frames which are amazaing, if anyone doesn't like how X-pearl looks check it out I'll prob have my same old ones myself Atlast loot etc.

Someone needs to make a new LunaUnitFrames youtube video.  This new interface gots me confuzzled.  I think there's just a dfference between effecting change in config mode and actually being in a raid to do so..or I hope so anyways. : P

You can always set them up now on a different server, then save your folder to your desktop, copy it over when server launches.

just for reference sake though..... which file do i copy and paste over exactly? its just one of the config/txt files isn't it?

 

I'm at work for the next 15 min, but pretty sure if you go into the WTF folder, select the realm and copy the folder from within there.   I'm sure somebody else will give the exact steps before I get home.   A few youtube vids should be available for this as well.

i have over 200 addons to sort through and I'm gonna wait till release to set them up. I'm pretty confident that not all of them will work, and I'm probably gonna dump a lot of them also, but all that is gonna be figured out after the servers go live. i cant play any WoW expansion without an asbolute фекал tonne of addons nowadays. hell i may even get some more! there was a few nice looking UI ones i saw that i might end up grabbing and adding. but i dunno.

 

any good UI suggestions? and i apologize if this question is kinda hi-jacking your thread a bit

Personally, I always liked LUI most of all. Ofc, it's not available for vanilla, but if you can get your hands on textures from original LUI (or any other UI, really) you can import it in game with Discord Art and Discord Unit Frames. I was working on this today, not finished yet, tho.

i like nearly everything about this besides the font.. looks quit nice otherwise imo.

I used Prototype and Pepsi in the past, and frankly, can't see those with my eyes anymore, even tho there is a consensus about those two being probably best looking fonts for WoW in game fonts. As matter of fact, I'm still looking to get right font for that UI...leaning toward neuropol.ttf

I only use maybe 10 addons. 

 

Key ones I like:

 

• Barr addon (Xperl but I may change to a different one have to research this a bit)
• Damage Meters  (helps ensure I'm doing my job - I've heard there is a better one so I may snag that one)
• CTMail Addon (send mass mail)
• Cartographer 
• Gatherer
• LootLink
• Questie
• OmniCC

 

Ones I still need: (if you know a replacement for these please let me know)

• Quartz replacement
• TellMeWhen  Replacement

 

 

That's it for now. I personally don't like to run a lot of addons.

i believe swstats is a much better damage meter. though i could be confusing that name for another addon.... not entirely sure.

 

i really like xpearl but sometimes the aesthetics can irk me.

 

Totally agree on Xperl the aesthetics are awful.

 

In retail I just used TidyNameplates. I used the default blizzard player frames. I used tellMeWhen for just about anything I needed. Such a great addon.

 

SWStats is the one I was thinking off!! Supposed to be more like Recount. I'll snag that one. Thanks Happy
