So you are sad, disgruntled.. you don't have your fresh PvP server... you can't play.. you can't rush to max level like a bunch of rabid dogs just so you can brag about how great you are at a video game. You did it!!!  Realm first!!! WooHoo!! Now you grind raids over and over again to keep up with the ePenis you must maintain. After all if you don't have the best gear what is the point?!?!

 

Congratulations!! You are a retail wow player who is playing Vanilla wow. 

 

What you don't seem to understand is that Vanilla wow was never what I just typed above. It was never a rush to 60 to raid. It was never hey look at me.. (not in the beginning). It was about the game. About learning it and leveling and the community and making friends. Not whining and crying and bitching because you didn't get what you wanted when you wanted it. You are lucky, damn lucky that any server exists for you to waggle your ePeen. 

 

So stop crying and stop bitching and just enjoy what is Vanilla wow and thank the people that are here to give it to you. They deserve your thanks.

Whilst I understand and do agree with the general message you're trying to convey here, not only will it not get through to the people you want to reach as they will either ignore or not understand your argument, it will most likely cause unfriendly discussion, which in turn, is rather unnecessary. Keep thinking that way, though, it is a good approach to Vanilla, in my opinion.

When vanilla launched raiding was not even considered by anyone. Nobody new what raiding was, there was no raiding! Raiding did not exist.

I don't know which server I am going to play on yet but my favorite part of the game is actually all the world pvp that happens while getting ready for the weeks raids.

I uses to always get into fights at farming spots, especially at the pirates in tanaris for volatile rum.

Best pvp I ever had though was in hearthglen and tyrs hand.

That being said I want a decent community so fresh or old is up in the air.

I think what probably scares people off of the Fresh PvP server to some degree is the following:

 

1) It could turn out to be too over-populated. So long que's and laggy performance,

2) A lot of people that never played on Nostalrius will probably jump on this realm. It's conceivable that some of them may not have good intentions. Meaning they are big time retail players looking to really troll a new server that is Vanilla and has a large population (who knows maybe they will find that they enjoy Vanilla more by doing this and leave retail and this is another concern of Blizzards!! LMAO). 

3) The same new people that never played on Nostalrius may, for some reason, be noobs?? (I really don't like this point at all but some really unintelligent people think that just because you don't know something you are somehow inferior or too annoying to bother with. We all started as noobs in WoW. So, as I said, not a big fan of this point but I do think some Nos players may have some aversion to being on a server full of players that did not come from original Nos Servers. Just a thought.

The moment you start watching your damage meters and other similar crap more than everything else on your screen is the moment you're mentally screwed and playing the wrong game, oozers like you were the downfall of retail "enjoyment" and many other good things & feels. I once started to resemble and turn into a celestial dps watcher like you but luckily I've managed to fight the demons off and address the issue without any dire consequences and was able to enjoy the game once again some years later, without addiction to those mind-controling monstrosities. Now go and fap on your dps boy, but know this - the result of it derives from the depths of the abyss and despite its whiteness it is dark as the Lich King's soul itself  !!! By Thermaplugg's plugging tools, I say !!

Actually the fresh server people have a longer road ahead of them than the returning Nost players.  So I wouldn't exactly say that they are the group that's rushing to the finish line.
