Can we use equiped items while shapeshifted?

Hi everyone,

 

Already found out my bear can't throw dynamites/bombs.. But can it use trinkets? Activate belts, off-hands or helms?

Yes. In fact the Manual Crowd Pummeler from Gnomeregan is one of the best weapons to boost feral DPS thanks to its activated ability, the Barbaric Belt is leather specifically so that druids can also use it in bear form, and so forth. Druids can activate use abilities on gear while shapeshifted.

Weapon procs don't work though. Black Duskwood Staff never seemed to proc on my kitty.

Can we use engineering items such as bombs and goblin helmet in moonkin form?

Bombs, no because they are consumables, not equipped items. Rocket helmet, yes (but I've never been an engineer...yet...on a druid so I can't confirm that 100%).

About Manual Crowd Pummeler. Has anyone tested or knows if you can continue powershifting while you have the effect on? Or will it drop if you switch form? I know that you can't switch weapons at least or it drops.

Powershifting shouldn't be a problem with manual crowd pummeler. It doesn't care what form you're in. But you can't remove the weapon. However I would think that powershifting would be a bad idea with the pummeler buff because autocast timers and all that. It would take testing to see what's optimal but that'd be my gut reaction.

Tested and it's insanely good. 3 charges only though.

But it isn't unique.    So you can farm a few up for raid.  There are 10 bosses, however a good feral should also have an MP/5 int set for decursing to free up a mage to pew pew for more raid DPS.

So 3 bosses where decursing is needed, Shazz / Luci / Gehenis.  This leaves 7 bosses you can pop Manual Crowd Pummeler on.   So 2 to 3 of these for your MC run would maximize your DPS and be enough.   Also pairing this with Zandalarian Hero Medallion on a short fight when zerging down the boss is OP as hell.
