It could be related to the severe hacking Elysium is currently being victim of. A lot of reports and evidence has been reported for this and Elysium seems to be deleting threads regarding this issue.

Not a dev either, but if you avoid standing in the fire, then you wont take damage. (Only exception is Aran's Flame Wreath). Fire does not heal.

Also, why such a negative attitude. Say GZ to the group and move on to clear MC yourself. But no, you want to go out of your way to screw people over.

Flame Wreath also requires you to avoid standing in the fire; as you stand in a patch of no-fire surrounded by a circle of fire.

Not sure about that. Aran places ~3 Flame Wreathes on random people. If people inside the wreath move, or if somebody outside the wreath crosses the flame border, then people start blowing up. That's why the safest strategy is for Nobody at all to move.
