They aren't obligated to provide that info to the person that has actually been banned. What makes you think that they owe it to you to provide you, a third party, with that level of info? 

Btw, there is a very good reason to keep the evidence sharing on bans to a minimum. The more info that people have on exactly how they got caught, the easier it is for them to circumvent the rules in the future.

Maybe you're right, maybe they don't have to give me any evidence. Of course, I'm not going to stop, and I'm still going to assume this GM is abusing his position. This information will be passed around and it will become an even bigger problem for them.

Just going by the replies in this thread people do not see this as a "travesty of justice."  especially because we have nothing from the person question or information about why he was even banned in the 1st place. 

If you really want to show what comes of the ban appeal, have him take screen shots. 

I must say, assuming abuse of power without even hearing all sides is not really productive.

It's typical of people, especially the WoW community, to come in and shit all over a thread they disagree with - the internet in general - and how these people attack my character, call me gay, or say I'm making shit up, that it was me who got banned and not this other person, etc etc etc. I'm not bothered, and I don't care what you or anyone else in this thread thinks.

It's also pretty unfair to say "hey, take screenshots", when he can't go back in and do this... because, you know, he's banned. That would require foresight of the situation "Am I going to get banned for whatever it was I did" for him to make the call that he should take screenshots. How would he have known this would happen, especially if he was innocent?

And sure, maybe it's not productive to assume there was an abuse here, but everyone here is also assuming he is guilty without even knowing him.

Beside not having to talk about one player's issues with another player, I'm guessing that the GM's aren't even allowed to do that. Would it be retail, definitely not allowed to talk to others.
