Some of them sure are compared to Elysium, but hundreds of people still play them and other people care enough to keep them running. 6k is a healthy number as is 3k or 2.5k. No need to panic. On the other hand, I'm pretty sure they have a backup plan of merging Elysium with Zeth'Kur if things go dire, as both servers share the timeline. Initial hype will pass and we will play on half populated realms. I would rather wait 10-15 mins for example than play on half populated realm. But still, at least we have less lag and spikes now. Problem is, that is harder to find groups late night. Leytere 1 Report post Posted January 28, 2017 (edited) 4-5k people on peak is not a dying server, not even an half-populated one, vanilla servers were capped at 2.5k at the beginning and 4k or 5k at the end so... 10k people is an over populated server for me. On almost every quest you have downtime from 2-30 minutes , because of waiting , ganking or tagging. At every lvl i do on elysium pvp i have 20 minutes deathcounter for ganking , 30-60 minutes waiting time . Many quests ill loved to to at vanilla i scip , because it isnt doable on that reason , and grinding is 99%of the world not an option with that overpopulation. I playing casual at mid lvl40 now , The peak of players are at lvl 35-45. Even now ,i have little twink for professions, the starting zones 1-20 are more than crowded. If there was a merge now, Elysium would be in the same situation as it was before ZK. Overpopulated with thousands of people sitting in the queue. I much more enjoy the 6-8k we've been seeing, it's much more reasonable and personally provides a better experience. i certainly remember the final months of Nost when it's pop was always sitting at 15k and I couldn't see people 20 ft infront of me, the server was constantly laggy and half that pop didn't speak english anyways. 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
