CF has withdrawn from our partnership. Shenna is extremely disheartened and upset over the accusations. Vitaliy is a close personal friend of hers. Shenna has left to meet with Vitaliy in person, as we speak, to get clarification on these accusations. IF this is happening, Shenna, and the rest of the leadership, had no idea. We all hope for clarification asap. On a more personal note I'd like to say something. Regarding Alex and others who brought up these concerns: I, personally, am grateful. I have said since day 1 - I welcome these types of conversations. I welcome those who insist we are held to a high standard, and scrutinize us when we make mistakes or are perceived to have lost integrity. This is the ONLY way we can become better than we were yesterday. A lot of our work is based on trust. If the community feels we are breaking their trust in some way - I always expect you to tell us, and no-one on our team will silence you (if done respectfully and constructively). I personally don't see what a lot of our team does. I try to keep up to date on everything, but, I don't micromanage our staff. A lot of the time, the best information that we get that something might be off is through you, the community, asking the hard questions. Shenna will be posting an update as soon as she gets out of her meeting with Vitaliy. Her last words to me before running out the door were verbatim: "Tell them I'm out for a RL meeting to Vitaliy. Tell them I am frustrated as hell. Tell them I will do everything to keep the game. Tell them the fucking truth." Salv 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2017 Ive only been around this project for about 2 weeks and thus far have really enjoyed what I am playing and the work being done. I have, however, been able to find all the info I needed on the team to figure out if this was a game worth really investing the time into and with the nature of its "dishonest" status being a ripoff of retail wow, I felt looking into these things was necessary. I found out easily and quickly that the Crestfall team coming in was going to save this project as the Valkyrie project was pretty much terrible. To my knowledge, once they got the Nost core and code they finally had a decent project but had a pretty unqualified developement team so this team up with Crestfall was huge because their team was far more talented and able to really progress the project. With them backing out I guess my concern is that Elysium is going to turn to shit with things like the downtime a couple days ago happening more frequently....remember Asura had to come in and bail the servers out of that shit show. What assurance do we have that this wont continue without someone with the skillset to handle these things....the previous guy was let go or fired right before the Crestfall announcement....who is going to take care of us now? Sorry if this is semi blunt but I want a really straightforward answer before I spend another minute in this game. If I can't then so be it. That is totally ok for me. rajinsu 8 Report post Posted February 21, 2017 ya more or less playing the waiting game on seeing where this is going .played for a hr or so fine thin got more or less lagged out of nowhere and had to ctrl alt delete out of the game been seeing this more amd more and thin not being able to log back in for a good wile. Problems WILL happen, solutions WILL be found. Nothing new, nothing bad, nothing to worry about. Remember, they are volunteers and you are NOT entitled to anything. Period. Worst thing is that such idiots will use the drama to get their channel some view boost. I personally will unsub from any content maker I'm subbed on and dislike every video regarding this topic as long as it's done in destructive manner. Vollfos 2 Report post Posted February 22, 2017 sry, but i am really happy to have a Staff which has a little bit less skill of coding and care about their nice community and a server which runs , most of the time good but with some failure in its code , as a unicum IT stuff with a nice perfectly running coded Server which is currupt and dont care about their community! so thanks elysium anyway for the great work! i played in vanilla, and i had a personal friend back in the days which was working as a blizzard employee! behind the scenes there were way more drama than this here what he was telling me from his storys. but blizzard had some great lawyers.... if someone telled something to the community , they get instantly fired and had to pay horrendus paybacks to them ! and the blizzard servers defenitely had way more problems then elysium had! you know that ? " never play on a patchday" call was real every wednesday , when the servers were going down for 2 hours maintains it was abaout 12 hours :D , and most likely something went wrong after. i think most of the Elysium community never played back in the days and most of the players of the vanilla past forgot about the lack of crap blizzard did there. many players, should help the team, not crying... and i think most of them which cry most of the time has no clue about how to help because they have no knowledge to code. ( me either)! 85% of all player not even donated to the servers, but many cry like shit as they are the owner of that servers . think abaout what really helps this project! We all played on nostalrius it was good and bad it was PURE fun for everyone, we all know that Nostalrius gave the torch to Elysium then they left. The hype train and the bigger player base keep the servers alive so thanks Nostalrius and long live to Elysium.
