Tbh, this many annoucements will just make things worst & people leaving more frequently. Stability is needed. You feel through what's happening that you're faltering way too hard. I wish all the crap stop & things get on rails quickly before it's too late.

While I must admit I have been rly torn about the entire server for more than a month now, I must say your endurance and dedication impresses me. You simply don't give up under all these circumstances, and that in itself is worthy of merit. Like you've already stated you're gonna stop giving a shit about all the discrediting of the staff, and this is rly the way forward. I just regret that I cannot have two shadow priests in a team or raid anymore as the DoTs get overwritten again. I hope this will be fixed in the future. I hope things work out, cause we rly cannot have all the trolls and Blizzard win. If we wanna have good vanillas server in the future we gotta keep together as a community, not the other way around!

Just a random question, does this mean someone can look at lets say naxxramas or aq scripting, fix stuff, send it to Elysium (or anywhere) for use?
If so, doesn't that also mean people can sneak some backdoors in the code?

It's just the core, so don't get your panties all wet, the potential issue i see here is a potential exploit increase. Hopefully the core is an older revision, i don't want a F****x server multi-hack type'o thing released again. But for DB development purposes , which is sinking most of the devs time. We'll probably benefit a lot in terms of content and Script Accuracy.

I've actually compiled the so called "Leaked" core and it's basically ancient and without proper instructions and digging you can't even get the Nost Phasing to work properly, so to all those Alexcucks go back to retail pls.

As somebody who really supports this project, this just looks bad.  AFTER it leaks, you can't say you're suddenly going open source.  You're just going to take a big hit on credibility.
