So THIS is now Happening...

Alliance on Darrowshire have found a way to generate free wins in the 10-19 bracket.

They make a HORDE toon, level it to lv 10 so it can que, then group 2-4 other level 1's with the lv 10, then "que as group".

Que pops for me, i click accept, and i have a team of fake lv 1 HORDE toons controlled by the ALLIANCE side.

They actively run to grab flag before i can and keep me from getting it while THEIR team of lv 19 twinks are 5v1 against myself. 

The Alliance team then just casually grabs horde flag and caps, 1-shotting our level 1 FC whenever they need to return their flag.

I contacted a GM In-Game regarding the issue, and the response was "we don't have enough people or time" to handle the cheating.

 

In the first screenshot, you can see one of the level 1's that they used, and you can see the match had just started, obviously they were not expecting an actual horde player to que and get into their free win match.

 

My only hope at this point is that the players involved in this cheat scheme have their accounts banned for abusing a glitch to ensure free wins for the Alliance teams.

except that in THIS case, they were all level ONE, except the lv10 they used to get in

@ OP, just keep logging all the names I guess. I'd log the names of the fellow faction players too, and ask in chat, someone may accidentally come clean about it. It may be enough to get a ban out of it.

While Perembula might be right in one aspect, he is wrong in another. If these players are using multiple toons, that is a direct violation of Elysium's Terms of Use under multiboxing. If you believe that they are multiboxing, in addition to wintrading, you have much easier grounds for further investigation on this matter. I can see the issue of GMs pursuing level 1 accounts for wintrading.. But if they are multiboxing and their IPs be traced, you have much more to work off of in this situation.

Now that is definitely a more understandable statement. It does seem rather dumb for them to go through so much trouble just for some wins for their twinks.

The real issue is GMs being unwilling to address this - in my experience, stating it with a nasty attitude. Under these circumstances that I don't see will change, expect to see more of this in the future. For what it's worth, this was briefly happening when I was grinding to exalted in WSG 10-19 on K2. I posted a like note on their forums, and it never happened again.

Firstly - knowingly exploiting a bug in the game is grounds for sanctions. So willfully popping battlegrounds with a L1 toon is sanctionable. We will be investigating all players involved with this. 

Secondly - As was stated above - Multiboxing is a permanently bannable offense, coupled with the exploit abuse these players are taking their accounts into their hands when they do this.  

Thirdly - Why do i not see a bug tracker report about this? If you are so keen to get this fixed thats where you should have posted this.

Fourthly - We do investigate all breaches oft he ToU, this is a new one - but it will be investigated and we will sanction as appropriate. 

 

We all know the rules, if somethings is bugged and you EXPLOIT it then you will get sanctions.
