Vekkasha 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2017 1. Check out the public war effort progress sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1x03BIdgIne9SVIOc016T-eHgx-cJZkXv6sEsYXD9yh8/edit#gid=1600352199 2. Grab 30-90min of your precious time and use it to farm stuff thats low on the sheet. 3. Turn it in instead of putting it on the AH, even if it gives 0 rep or you don't need any rep. 4. Together we can maybe open AQ one or two weeks earlier! Leggo! http://imgur.com/a/pZhDR Have a nice week everyone! - Vekk
Slicy 11 Report post Posted April 3, 2017 (edited) That is sweet and I believe a bit more players are putting time into it. Even if we'd finish it within 1-2 weeks I believe there are issues which kill the entire point of rushing it. There are things which still hold back a lot of people and guilds from even caring about it since they are powerless in their regard : - AQ not being ready. - PTR barely even starting when the applications have been sent a month ago. - Autocomplete not being set to a flat % each day but rather at the liking of whoever is doing it on the realm depending on their progress or not. - Player base has been told more than a month ago AQ was 80% finished during a Q&A session. - The staff's intent was to have War Effort completed within 3-4 weeks. It has been exactly 4 weeks (announcement was made on March 3rd) as of today and we're bit more than halfway through, even after numbers squish. Perhaps once these issues are being addressed, more players would be willing to spend time farming. For now it seems as long as staff keeps on making the wrong decisions and delaying, players on Anathema are just gonna keep on raid logging and let things rot on their own. Forest_ 40 Report post Posted April 3, 2017 I can tell you for a fact that Scuba Cops has a guild wide effort and incentive program going for farming War Effort materials. We've contributed 20k+ items since the rework. Everyone can do their part and help a little at a time!

The war efforts will be completed and people will bang the gong and the 4 hour war or whatever will happen but the gates will never actually open until they're ready AKA 2018.

pantsman 6 Report post Posted April 4, 2017 The Council of the Long Beards has made it abundantly clear that the dwarves of Khaz Modan have no interest in helping your stupid war effort.
Ickus 40 Report post Posted April 6, 2017 @Link There seems to be a display error on the war effort values. It is currently displaying the old values.
Storfan 24 Report post Posted April 6, 2017 I dont mind a delayed release. Still havnt finished by fury raid-bis and still missing that geddon binding:D On 2017-04-03 at 8:06 PM, Drakbak said: Not sure how anyone can prove AQ is not ready until the gates are finally opened.... Source code is open source on github, also, PTR I guess. I just think they could've simply stated it openly: AQ40 release has been delayed due to circumstances. Instead of being dodgey and releasing a war effort with sky-high requirements.
