Weird Hunter Stuff

Question to everyone to see if this is right. 

lv60 Hunter name Legit was out at Stonetalon horde base controling his pet killing lowbies. I see the call for help and come out there and I see the pet attacking lowbies. I attack the pet and immediately it disappears and reappears. I can't kill it because of that... I used to play a hunter in vanilla and I never remember that skill acting that way. Not to mention I couldn't find the hunter. A 60 undead rogue showed up and we started to look for the hunter we found him and couldn't attacked him. Then he disappeared. The pet was still in town attacking and everytime we attacked it, it would disappear and reappear at another part of town. Legit didn't seem to be playing legit-ly. lol 

I switched over to alliance and told him good shit, and he was going to get reported and I hope he doesnt get banned. I don't know how long he was doing it but he was out there for a while.

So it was not enough to whine at him in whispers, you had to go here and whine aswell?

Write an ingame ticket.

I'm not whining... Im asking a question to see if anyone else has gone through this. I love world pvp but this was weird.

I don't see how this is abuse.  He is using eyes of the beast. This is normal pet behavior.  What is your plan for when he takes 5 seconds to revive the pet and send it back in? Even if you succeed, you still have not accomplished anything. Just look around for the hunter instead of try to kill the pet.

This is like reporting a mage for using fireball. Ridiculous.

Apparently reading is hard...

It is not normal behavior of the skill for the pet to immediately disappear and reappear. Not to mention we couldn't attack the hunter when we found him.

If the pet moves out of range of the hunter, it despawns, but can be immediately respawned to hunter with Call Pet.

I'm pretty sure since I've played hunter before I know what the fuck I am talking about. I know about the out of range shit, dumbass. That was not what was happening here.

But, all good. I will git gud thanks for the advise.

It was obviously what was happening here. He had scouted the max range, and when the pet got attacked he moved it past that, then resummoned it with Call Pet.

Actually, just yesterday I did have some weird stuff happening to my pet while leveling, namely it disappeared several times while in combat so I had to call it back. 

Just putting it in here for all the conspiracy lovers. It's true though.

WHY ARE YOU ATTACKING THE PET  >.>  Even if he is exploiting, which I very much doubt... YOU CAN JUST KILL THE HUNTER.  If you've played a hunter before, then why do you think its important to kill his pet. The only thing you should be doing is... FIND THE HUNTER

Are you special? and not in the good way...

Let me try this again really slow.

1. I arrived in town

2. I see the pet, start to look around for the hunter

3. can't find hunter, duh... let me kill the pet

4. I can't kill said pet, because it disappears and reappears

5. Rogue joins me... we find Hunter... we can't target/kill hunter. Hunter disappears

6. Pet is still in town and we still can't kill pet, because it disappears and reappears.

There is a Dismiss pet script command that has been circulating in recent months.  Bare in mind... Any and all players who are caught using such script / macro will be sanctioned accordingly... If you see this, please record it and submit a ticket.
