They explain it all. -Nost PvP server re-launching with all character data from Nost -Nost PvE server re-launching as well -New fresh-start PvP server Not sure about player caps. arbet 9 Report post Posted November 24, 2016 Its not Russian, but they previously hosted a Russian server (not sure if they still do). one new PvP realm, Nostalrius's two realms are returning including with their character data. Population cap isn't clear (I think they said it would be a little bit under what Nostalrius had, so maybe 8K, think Nost was on 10K), they're currently stress testing to see how many it can cope with. I've checked some info about valkirye team (bunch of slavic nicknames) + checked the elysium site (another slavic name as the owner). So it's rus server or not? NON profit RU server feels kinda fishy. I'd like to be wrong about this, but something is still bothering me about this. Shayss 43 Report post Posted November 27, 2016 (edited) Valkrye was the original server. After Nosts closure, a portion of the Nost team moved to work with Valk. They then gave Valk access to the database because they shared the same values as Nost (as read in the official announcement) They have now become Elysium, a multinational team as the Nost team was french mostly (I could be wrong on this but it makes sense since the server was run by the french). The server is also hosted in france by the same lot that hosted Nost servers. I doubt it will be 100% Nostlike, but I am pretty sure it will be very similar. Even if Blizzcucks can't reach Elysium guys like they did with Nost devs, they can always reach OVH and force them to cease their service provided to Elysium. Am I wrong? Blizzard doesn't give a damn about the private server scene, and the only reason they send out C&D's is because they need to show that they are protecting thier IP. For them to take legal action is something else entirely. As long as Elysium does what they say they will, we don't really have anything to worry about. Let's face it, if you are worried about getting shutdown, you shouldn't be playing on private servers anyway. The possibility will always be there, no matter what. Heh, but they have sent C&D to OVH regarding Nostalrius, OVH said "we're shutting you down or Blizzcucks will sue us", whasn't that the case of Nost shutdown? It's just funny to see another 10k ppl server is going to pop at OVH which proved themselves unreliable when it comes to private servers.
