Makes the struggle real when everyone is on the same lvl fighting for the same goals. No one to roll over content, forces ppl to work together. My favorite memories for MMO are within the first year of new releases. I'll be going fresh server for sure. Most of the people will be going on the old Nost PvP and all the hype was about the DATABASE returning ( aka the OLD realm ) and not so much about the code being released ( aka fresh servers ) . Fresh server people are relying on a biased strawpoll which was made by a biased streamer promoting going on the fresh server meanwhile 80+ established guilds confirmed rolling on old server literally not 1 good guild is going fresh. Anyways both servers will be packed and good but fresh server kids spamming " LUL old server is dead LUL " are kind of triggering me Idiot #2 I'll pm you when the fresh realm releases, and I'll crunch some numbers for you. So whatever you choose, you'll have enough players to create a breathing and living world. To answer your question; The reason for most players to roll on the fresh server is probably that they enter an even playing field, are not that far behind contentwise, and it emulates the "coming" of WoW in 2004. 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The less time we have to worry about these neck-beards with a raging "fresh start boner" trolling the old nost server. Faith 5 Report post Posted December 5, 2016 Hi all! I don't quite understand why so many people want to play on fresh realm. Most of the players that will play here they already have characters on Nostalrius. Also all existing Elysium characters will be moved to Nostalrius realm. I've read Nost forums and there all were so glad that Nost DB will be used in Elysium and that they will not lose their characters. So why many people don't want to just continue to play in good old Nostalrius realm like nothing changed? Well for me I'll be on Fresh because I never palyed on Nostalrius or Eysium servers. So it's only natural I want to be on the fresh realm. I still felt that a full wipe was a better option. Having three realms that are all on different patch levels when you are trying to create one cohesive community, IMO, probably wasn't the best way to go. But it's not that big a deal. There's no point in spending time and effort 'cause we'll get closed anyway. arbet 9 Report post Posted December 5, 2016 Blizzard did not shut down Nostalrius, Nost chose to shut down when Blizzard asked them to. Elysium has said they will not shut down if Blizzard tells them to.
