I didn't get why they didn't host their old servers in a different region and relied on server transfers. Some of the transfers were not a success unfortunately. . It's unfortunate.The world is not perfect. I know.  Hopefully everything will turn out fine. Just gonna have to wait and be patient some more. I'm in no hurry to play the game.  I feel burnt out from playing. I just want to make sure everything is going to be a-OK before I take my break from WoW.

I personally don't think that launching the old nost pvp realm was a bad thing in itself, but it does create problems when you try to benefit a part of the population over the other communities, ending up with a messy situation. Here the fresh pvp realm was delayed in order to benefit the old nost pvp population. That wasn't really a good thing to do.

 

And now the problems the old nost pvp realm is having (like missplaced/missing items) are directly making an impact on the pve realm community, which is suffering from an overwhelming amount of lvl 1 players just running around starting zones.

You heard him, everyone who cares at all about investing hundreds of hours into their character secretly has a sexual attraction to that character, and is a cancer to the private server community. Why else would anyone want their old character back that they arduously leveled, geared, and farmed honor on? Clearly it's because we're bad people.

 

Excellent and insightful point, OP. I'm sure this indignant little rant has nothing to do with your resentment that the Nostalrius servers are going up first rather than the server that YOU wanted, nor your consequent irrational hatred for everyone who intends to play on those servers because in your opinion they're why you didn't get your way.

Let me point something out: None of us is entitled to anything. 

 

I am currently unable to access my account in order to transfer my characters. I want that account back. But I am not entitled to it. Will I be upset if I don't get it back? You bet your anus I will be. But I do not have a fundamental right to get it back, because the only reason I was even able to make that account in the first place was because some Europeans decided to undertake the arduous process of creating a free private server. 

 

Make no mistake; the people who run this server owe you nothing. They have given you a gift by allowing you to play on any of three servers so long as you follow their community standards. They didn't have to do that, but they did. If you feel you are unfairly treated by the moderators/gms/et cetera, you have a right to voice your objections and point out where you think they went wrong. But that right does not extend to them giving you exactly what you want just because you want it so much that you've decided you now deserve it. 

 

This sense of entitlement astounds me. 

 

EDIT: Go ahead and say "I got you dude lol." My point still stands. And frankly, given your sheer vitriol even when you claim to have been trolling, I'm assuming you really do believe what you've written here.

I honestly can not believe they did not realize this would happen if they didnt launch the FS server first or at the same time as the other 2 realms .. People who have no interest in playing on the old server at all are rolling toons and sitting at the starting area just flooding the server .. Hence the 10k + q's.

They should abandon the fresh server principle and just release a copy of the Nost one (in terms of the timeline).

 

That way the Nost crowd can spread themslves out a bit if they so wish.

What are you missing by going Nost anyway? I will tell you. The chance to get carried through raids. Right now the good people who are leveling and hitting 60 will gear up(mostly in pugs) and be picked up by good guilds. The bad ones how ever will be stuck in crappy guilds trying to clear MC and failing. Their only option will then be to wait until people get so far ahead in gear that PuGs to MC/ZG are basically a walk in the park and they can get lucky once a month and pick up an item.

If they go to fresh however then the very fact that everyone needs bodies to feel up their raid groups will provide these noobs with the opportunity to gear up.

There's no doubt OP forgot to take his meds today.

 

However, I'm surprised the fresh pvp server is a month away (seems to be the consensus). There's so many newcomers that want to be a part of something new. I've played vanilla before, back when I was 15 years old. I want to replay it so bad and progress and raid and pvp in a way I never was able to back in 2004-2005. But here I am half committed messing around on Nost PvE because I want the fresh pvp server. The hype is real right now. The hype a month from now isn't going to be quite the same. Most of those new accounts created are probably feeling much like I am now. I got suckered in to having a bite of chocolate and now the candy bar is just out of reach for a month. 

 

TLDR: Not diggin the delay on fresh pvp.

I will play on Fresh because it is after the holidays when I will have a lot more time for it. No point leveling on Nost since by the time fresh comes out I will probably have only finished 20-30 levels anyway.

lol soo the entire point was to get folks who dont want to play on old servers to make toons there anyway, and do nothing except sit there and cause huge Q's preventing folks who actually want to play there from getting in ?
