Best Class/Prof to get Gold

So, as a resto druid I feel I have no grinding ability to make gold at 60. So, what should I level to help me make gold? I know people will say it's a waste of time, but I have time to waste. So, I was thinking mage would be the obvious choice. But also hunter is good apparently for farming? Please give suggestions, and what professions can make the most gold. Thanks guys!

There is no "best", and if you're so incompetent that you have to ask how to make money as a level 60 druid (spec is largely meaningless), it wouldn't matter what the "best" is -- you'd still fail.

It is just a question on what the over all best class and professions are for making gold, you don't need to be a dick. Seriously, it's not like I came here to complain about the ваууing server or something to make it more like retail. I asked a question, if you don't want to help then just leave. As for gold making, the best ways have been nerfed from what I hear (DM farming on Hunter/Mage). As a Druid though you can grind mobs easily, even elites. Druid is probably the most self sufficient class. Could grind 50s mobs for items worth a few gold like Felcloth for example, or just do instance runs for AH items like Righteous Orbs. Can also take Enchanting and farm places like Maradon and DE items then sell the shards/dusts etc.

 

Profession wise mining or herbing is probably pretty decent.

Also Skinning as there's no real limit to how much you can farm like with herbs and ore. You can find a good spot for leather and just farm it for hours if you'd like.

Get herbalism/mining. If there is a mob near, root it, get your node, run to next.  You can get alchemy as well and craft consumables for some extra income. and if you got lucky with flask recipes, you can make much more.

Or you can get both mining and herbalism, get gatherer addon and.. you got it.

I personally like the herb / mining for a druid due to root + shapeshift. For mainly gold making I'd recommend herb/mining then feed it to a crafting character and get some of those flasks / protection potions. Ideally shadow protection potions are a nice profit in the coming future :D

if you have a couple of friends to farm instances, certain shards will give huge economy.

In world, skinning&lw perhaps. tribal, devilsaur, refined cd, same with tailor and mooncloth.

I don't recommend getting two gathering proffs due to having to constantly switch the 'find mineral/herb' skill.

as for class, perhaps hunter for solo, rogue is also good esp as herba. at high lvl u can sneak past hinter elit for ghostm.

Mages are also aoe grind gods, but keep in mind, that at populated server as Nostalrius is all good spots would be busy.

But you could find lower levels spots, especially if you kill beasts and have skinning on your toolbelt. Or if you kill humanoids (they drop cloth), tailoring and [dis]enchanting would be super good. You could saw spell power gear, bags, or make greens for D/E'ing.

Some mages farm non elite packs in DM, but you can do "legally" (without breaking server rules) this only 5 times in hour.

PS: Keep in mind that you can get tailoring/skinning on your mage and enchanting on other character :D

it depends on the server's economy. i advise you to check the ah for prices, if herbs are more expensive then ores, go for it. and enchanting is good actually if you just disenchant the green soulbound items that you have to sell to ah makes good money in ah by selling the dusts etc

Nah, before Google, people talked to each other and shared information with each other. That's how people survived. The shift to "do your own research" was something us millennials introduced, ironically.

IIRC Druid can stealth around in Dire Maul and loot book objects to sell the class books on AH.
