Ticket reply time

Recommended Posts

How long does it take to get help with an issue in game? Is it 1 day,2 days or a week? And is there a way to contact GM's using website/discord?

It would depend on the issue, also it's saturday, peak hours no? assume it'll take awhile a lot of people most likely have tickets in, although i don't think there's a way to contact GMS outside of the game ATM (If there is please correct me if i'm wrong.) I know the few times i had to ticket here, it wasn't bad at all. within 4 hours. One time for an MC bug it was within 40 mins.

Well i wrote the ticket yesterday and everyone says the reply comes within few hours. That's why I'm asking this. Do you need to stay online Throughout the whole time while waiting for the ticket?

Yes... It wouldn't be much of a problem if there were actually other trinkets in the game. That trinket is basically the BiS and no other trinkets are in game as a replacement. If i picked a leveling quest reward wrong i wouldn't even mind. But gotta try with this

I'm not sure how long it's taken to get a response for you guys, but I'm still waiting for mine...

About 3-4 weeks ago I sent in a ticket. Was doing the arikara quest near 1kneedles. Was in a party of 2 (just my roommate and i). We had no problem starting the quest, I picked up the item she dropped, (i believe it was a rough skin or something) go back to turn it in, and my party member was able to complete the quest but I wasn't.

Immediately entered a ticket explaining  things just as I have here. Got impatient the next night (still no response) I sent in another ticket asking why I can't complete this quest, asking why they haven't answered my first ticket, and also congratulating them on a great server and all the hard work they put in (not being sarcastic at all, i love Zethkur and WOW in general)

Flash forward to today. It's been 3 weeks to a month. 0 response on my 2 submitted tickets. Gave up and dropped the quest a few days later when I realized they weren't going to get back to me.

Mods and Devs: how do you think this makes the individual player feel? I understand you're busy (literally NONstop everyday with the servers) but I've given you a month... I feel like MY experience isn't as important as everyone else who's tickets they answered.

All i needed was a "we are looking into it" and i would be happy. Still playing Zethkur and not going to give up anytime soon. I just wish that EVERYONES problems and concerns could be answered. I get it if i just post on the form, you are not going to do anything. That's why I followed EVERYONE'S advice and sent the ticket in the MINUTE I couldn't turn the quest in. And what do I have to show for it? NOTHING. No response. No help. Not even a mention.

Still love your servers and everything you're doing to improve them, but I'm slowing losing respect for the GMs and Devs. You say you're all about the COMMUNITY but then are selective about the people you help and the things you interfere with. They are so quick to help everyone with this and with that, but then those of us who somehow fall through the cracks are SOL right?

Depends on your issue.

When I report gold spammers, it's like 10 minutes.  The other day a quest NPC had been moved to an unreachable spot and Pottu responded to my ticket in about 5 minutes.

On the other hand, I recently asked a question about whether doing a certain thing was permitted and it took 3-4 days to get an answer.

Let me save you the time and effort. They wont help you with that. One of the main draws of vanilla is that your choices matter...ALOT and they are often final, it's one of the main draws of most older RPGs infact, they are punishing and unforgiving, you need to do some research before making big choices.

EDIT: What trinkets are we talking about by the way?

As players stated, we do not fix looting mistakes. BiS trinket or not.

As for the waiting time, it depends on your issue. Some issues can only be solved when the player and a sufficiently senior GM are both online at the same time. These issues can take even a week or more to solve if you're unlucky. Other issues can be solved by any GM regardless of the player being online or offline, so the ticket can be handled quickly. We do try to prioritise tickets from online players over offline players.
