You know whats great, When you work for something whether it takes you 3 days of no lifing or 3 months of casually playing, That sense of achievement when you finally get it is what is important.

Several alts(14 before legion/quitting)  in retail at max lvl without buying instant level --> Check

Still time to level toons in Elysium --> Check.

 

So what's your real problem? No time to re-level after being banned or what? Not accuseing of anything (cheating / gold buying / being chinese goldseller etc), but really wondering where you're coming from, since the  "issues" you represented really *aren't* any problems to ppl.

Many of us have full-time jobs. We have leveled to 60, 70, 80, etc a million times. We simply do not have that type of time anymore like we did back in high school or college with a lot of free time on our hands. We got lives outside of wow. I just don't understand how staff refuses to see this, and chooses to stubbornly be close minded when it comes to this suggestion.

 

I am not asking for a fun server with the hundred XP. But 12 to 15 XP would be ideal for somebody who doesn't have that much time on his hands. Some people can spend six months just leveling to 60. Imagine how they will feel if the whole server goes down or taken down by blizzard.

 

Please consider this suggestion, and understand that we're not kids or teenagers anymore with 5-10 hours a day of free time to play wow.  Thank you.

And on top of that, have time to level to 60, raid dungeons, level professions, and build their character all at 1x.

1. The code for the server is open-source. You can make your own 12x server or whatever and see if anyone plays on it. I think you might be surprised to see just how few people agree with you.
2. Plenty of successful people with lives play WoW at 1x, just because you can't imagine being able to do it doesn't mean it isn't possible.

I find it funny that people with full-time jobs, a family with kids still find time to be just as an active raider as the no-life sad excuses for human beings.

As for the topic at hand, I fucking love this game just the way it is. I sometimes log for an hour, sometimes two and other days not at all, but the experience is just as good if not better than playing the game in a more hardcore way.

If you can't stand leveling, I suggest a high-rate server somewhere else.

1. Are you really that naïve? Who the hell is going to play on my server? I'm a nobody. Go create your own 1x server, and see who plays on it. It doesn't even matter what type of server it will be. The entire point is the community. Once you get that, you can experiment and test all sorts of ideas and different servers outside of traditional 1x.  and if it is good, people will join. Like I said, all you need is the followers. Once you get that, anything is possible.

You are proposing something that isn't vanilla like on a vanilla like site.  If we wanted a different xp rate we'd be somewhere else.

Not lecturing you, just saying I have the same kind of social life whether I play this game or not.  You may not be able to balance your life but others can.

What part of "some suggestions will always be refused and posting them is a waste of time" can't you get through your thick skull. This project exists for people who want the blizzlike 1x experience and they aren't going to add another sever (they have enough trouble managing four of them already anyway) that goes against this purpose no matter how much you post here. Nobody cares about your 2006 perspective either, when you indeed had to become a hermit if you wanted to reach level 60 quickly. It is now 2017, however, and all there is to know about the game is known.  There are countless guides and addons that cut down the leveling time to a fraction to what it was, and it is easier to find a group to quest or do dungeons than it ever was in retail. If that isn't enough to get you to 60 without sacrificing your job, social life, family etc., then you aren't very resourceful and just plain suck at time management.

from my point of view this is a great suggestion. and i already have my level 60 with good gear and dont need another char for free leveling. i wouldnt play on this server at all i just dont think its a bad idea even if it wont happen
