A Proposal

 

As glad and respectful i am that you are launching a new server for all the folks who wish to begin a new adventure, i think it is important to acknowledge how important Nostalrius was and still is. The history and nostalgia that the old server holds has tremendously importance to a lot of players.

Therefore i urge people not to rush to the new server and leave the old behind, as you still have time to experience what we all had so much fun building. It is not a race to become the first guild to slay Ragnaros, Nef etc., as many of you may think about as you wish to join the new one, although i see where you are coming from. It's some damn fine gaming history. 

 

I have high hopes for you all to visit Nostalrius PvP before you may choose to move elsewhere.

For all of you people wanting to race for world first on the fresh realm, please do yourself a favor and lookup how many Vanilla wow guilds were actually able to complete the raids. The number will shock you tremendously, around 2% of Guilds in the WoW population actually finished end game vanilla raiding. So please dont let the old servers die because you want to be first. Honestly you may never see BWL completed.

Yeah Vanilla demanded alot of time, which most people and guilds werent able to muster. Or just did not want to invest this much. I guess "time" is the big factor there.

Yes everyone has their own pace, as long as everyone has fun and no one feels left behind, no need to race anywhere.

Good level to be at.  You'll miss the newbie zone mob tagging craze, but the speed levelers will catch up with you quick and you'll have TONS of people to 5 man with.

Fuk this new pvp server. Everyone plays on one server which is the old pvp. Its funny to see lil kids crying about caching up t2 guys. When I started playing on nost the server already had t2 people and I didn't have any problems with that, I was just playing the game. A year from now, new peps on new server will have t2 and nost has to open another server for the new people who just started? Of course no.

Back in the day I was inspecting every raider with my mouth wide open!

I mean thats the thing, thats one thing of vanilla.... Not everyone is a unice shiny snowflake, and that makes actual snowflakes more shiny,....

theyre not opening the server that new people dont need to compete with t2 people... they are opening the new server cuz we are way too many people for 2 realms! i stopped playing on old pvp with my t1 t2 rogue because of too many people there.

From their post ''Next week we will be posting an announcement with more details about the upcoming transfer and release.'' More information about transfer AND release, and as Sunday is the last day of the week it would be the sort of the latest date we could expect the post with more information =)
