Change Hunter epic bow quest timer

I did this quest long time ago, when demons was on a 7h timer.

 

I was forced to put alarm to 4 am / 5 am to bypass the list, i did the quest in few days, i understand that most of the peoples cant do this kind of фекал.

 

But, i realy enjoyed this quest, it was painfull, and i was so ваууing happy when i got my items even if i changed bow for bwl xbow few weeks after.

 

You should be happy to be able to do this quest on a 3h respawn timer, it's a fckin epic bow bois, you will use it in aq40 if your not lucky enough to get the bwl xbow, you will basicaly keep it for months, so, i think, you can spend some time on the quest to get this bow.

 

If you find this quest 'toooo hard omfg i'm a familly dad 5 childrens one waifu 2 full time jobs gotta work for cash money lololololol' you can take a look at the cool artifcat weapons available on retail :^)

Again, another post misses the point completely. 7h is not Blizzlike, and depending on how you define it, neither is 3h.

Only reason 7h may have been fine is because not that many people were doing the quest back then, 3h was certainly not fine because at that point there were 100+ hunters doing the quest. There is no way to deal with it, it's simply not viable. If you have nothing to contribute there is no reason for you to be here.

The personal talking restriction isn't a bad idea, though would require a little coding.   Create a debuff automatically on the character once you talk to them to start the event so they the same person can not talk to them for X amount of time.  If it was done that way, it could even be moved back to 7 hours with no consequence to other players.

That's my point. You think a 30 minute timer would be better. I think it would be worse. Both of us have different ideas of what better is.

I did the Leaf quest on the PVE server before the shutdown. The 3 hour spawn time was fine for the PVE server as it only had a small list of hunters waiting. But I wouldn't want to have to try to do the quest on a server that had the population that the PVP server had with 3 hour respawns.

That same time i had exams at uni and a part time Job, im still at uni and still working. Get in the que, wait your turn, learn the fight and dont fail it instead of crying. Youll be fine

how about that anti-grief rule? I don't see you complaining about that. same deal. its applied so hunters can properly complete the quest on an overpopulated server. lowering the respawn would just be another step into the right direction.

If you want 15-30 minutes timers, you guys are some big ваууing jokes, but, keep asking for it :^) Vast majority of hunters did the quest with 7h timers, and you, guys, are some crybaby :^)

 

 

Let me explain why :

 

This is one of the few good hunter weapons available, aka : this bow, bwl xbow, aq40 gun, naxx bow ?, KT xbow.

 

So, you have 5 viable weapons as hunter in the whole pve content, and you want to get one of them with minimal time investment, you will basicaly keep this bow for months if you r not realy lucky on chromagus xbow drop, but, you, still want this quest to be done the easy way, with minimal time investment, because, for you '7h despawn is not blizzlike, neither 3h is'.

 

Only reason 7h may have been fine is because not that many people were doing the quest back then, 3h was certainly not fine because at that point there were 100+ hunters doing the quest. There is no way to deal with it, it's simply not viable. If you have nothing to contribute there is no reason for you to be here.

You can add all the peoples by passing the list, so, you can add like 40-50% more peoples to this, it was 7h timer.

As we can see, using 3h timer, you can notice, the list number decreased, i will not say 'huge', but for a decent (realy decent) amount,

 

Now, you guys, are asking for 30 minutes timers, so this way; every casual hunter will be able to get this quest, done, and, as a casual, if you struggle to get this quest done, you will never ( or probably, lets say 80%) going to get bwl xbow, aq40 gun, or kt xbow (or even r14 weapons lul), so, you will keep this bow for 'ever', but, you still want this quest to be done on a 30 minutes timers, so everyone can jump around in green gear using some cool epic bow, sounds legit ? Nope.

Pretty much, except people paid for others in retail to kill demons for them. Back then players simply sucked.

Ridiculous how people support a long cooldown on despawns (not talking about respawns).

There is no purpose to the long despawn cd other than giving people a way to grief hunters, despawns only happen when someone griefs.

Seems pretty silly to introduce a mechanic whose only purpose is to enable griefing and then add a rule banning anyone who does it.

I thought it was a awesome experience but I didn't have to do the quest on the over populated PVP server. The PVP server had way to many hunters waiting for spawns to remain on a 3 hour timer. Now what that spawn time should be needs to be decided by the Elysium/Nost staff not the Trolls who live to argue on the forums.

Before you ask, no, there were never any priest complaints about benediction quest.

If a 2h respawn makes it more Blizzlike I'm sure people will stop whining(read as making suggestions). I don't think downscaling the respawn is the best solution but I'm sure the devs will make the correct decision.

 

Did the priests have to apply on the forums for permission to do Benediction and then camp the spawn for days+ to be able to do it? If yes, kudos to priests.
