Even if the devs are corrupt and making a little coin from this server, is that a reason to try to bring it down? Unless you visit reddit you wouldn't even know of any of this drama. The server has its bugs and downtimes but overall I am having an amazing time. And now this jackass wants to bring it down because he was banned for stirring up drama? That being said, if we look at this in a realistic way, this is still the biggest project out there with vanilla that offers the kind of product we want. This is any upcoming devs wet dream if he wants to make a name for him/herself in the private server community. I think the purge might make it ok. PS: I came into this project with the acceptance that my character was already gone. Deleted. In the void. In addition, not only did he screw over the developers by making them in debt y $1000 with his chargeback after they had already paid and relied on that money to extend server hosting, he is now encouraging others to do the same and chargeback all their donations. He is threatening a private server GAME that is >10 years old with real life money. Not even Blizzard went as far as using real $ as a leverage against those servers. I have a BIG moral problem with someone financially abusing a team of volunteer developers who are providing ~40k players with free entertainment. Regarding the "corruption" and witchhunts. I dont know and I dont care. When I log on Elysium, I have fun with my limited time. What others have done and the services they have purchased has not effected my enjoyment of the game in any shape or form. His logic and his deductions are full of classical argument flaws. This guy is uneducated and relies on pathos to make a point. I will not APOLOGIZE for having a moral objection to his financial actions against the volunteers. I don't care about the point's he makes. It's his opinion. People from his country have a right to speak what they want, but not a single country grants the right to scam people. Something's not right. Why would he scam people out of $1000 dollars and destroy all of his credibility? Surely if he continued what he was doing he could make more than $1k in the long run. There has to be a different reason. Alex charged back $1000 and is encouraging others to also do chargebacks and his consequence for this action is the same as the one that Dodgy got? I think it ought to be stronger than a Ban to teach him that scamming $1000 can get you in serious trouble. Man if somebody personally and intentionally screwed you over for $1000, you will not rest until Justice is settled.
