Created a char, logged back out, downloaded a couple of addons and now want to log back in - account banned What happened? If this is the start of the Elysium experience, why would I even set foot in this place? Edit: Could it be addons, no? It's possible that you flagged an anticheat measure with a modified client or some background program. Maybe it's that. Ive written in the ban appeal section as an edit to the same post: that 2 consecutive bans happen for just newly created account, right as I wanted to login. I couldnt even, they were banned right away. either something is wrong with this internally here on the website or it must have something to do with the addon list, getting auto-banned. I have researched the latter, but there is no addon named that is banned? You must edit the file to be able to play. Edit: just re read the OP and saw you did log in at one point. What you can try is downloading another 1.12 Client, maybe yours has WoD Character Models or a Injector like FoV Fix. I also have just remembered that I have AutoIt installed, but for completely different purposes as automate anything on WoW. Could this be it? I have no problem deinstalling it, since I rarely ever use it. I did not know the 20min thing, re-trying Yes I did download the regular 1.12 client. Sounds more you had an account already and got hacked and since you don't have 2fa you'll be banned until you enable it. this is really simple. I multitask very much and dont hold attention to memory (spiritual background) so it sometimes happens that I just allow muscle memory to do it's thing and on the 3-4th try it then succeeds. as funny as it sounds, but over the years i have figured out that it requires less energy than actual thought-based recalling/memory I did not not know that Elysium is so sensitive to passwords.
