Speeding up updates progress

Recommended Posts

Considering number of level 60s on Elysium server and also bis geared ones shouldnt staff speed up progressing to new patches and eventually to TBC someday? With MC and Ony as only things to do after you get 60 and get gear from DM/Strat/BRD game is becoming boring. I personally dont have reason to play anymore except for occasional MC/Ony run. I think its same for many others lvl 60 players.

You mean the 45+ post that Nost/Anathema people were making telling you guys that you'll be bored with running MC for 7 months didn't know what they were talking about?   But now the reality has hit, things should be changed to speed up to the timeline of your server when there were already existing servers presented to you as an option to play on.  But the "OMG Fresh" fanboys made you regret your decision?

TL:DR

People didn't listen in January, now they be like:

it has upsides and downsides. personally getting carried by other players (like you doing ubrs) isnt something i aim for.

the waitting still sucks, but its better than the other option.

Play for guild Community and create things to do ingame instead of wanting or mongering for new content , it will come in due time there are still loads of things to do outside of raiding unless you have no interest in any of the other available options , I think retail is more suited toward your play style.

It makes no sense to speed up content updates when other servers on this project already have those updates.  If you want different content you can fix that issue yourself.

It's still far better than being in a starting guild on a stale server. What happens is most of the good healers and caster dps are in the BwL guilds while the starting guilds have a hard time even getting scrub healers and caster dps. On a fresh server, many of those healers and caster dps are still leveling and gearing, so the recruiting pool is much higher in quality.

We cannot pace content release solely on the basis of the fastest 10%-20% of the realm population. If you are starved for content on Elysium, consider creating another character on Anathema and playing there. The team has to manage 3 different timelines in addition to the usual server stability and bug fixes. Speeding up the timeline(s) would only lead to rushed and poorly developed content.
