When that pc died I took it out slapped it in my new pc.. pulled the files off the old drive put them on the new drive. When the new PC died I did this again. I even bought a hard drive enclosure and just tossed my original drive from the pc that run wow vanilla in 2004 into that enclosure. I can just plug it any pc via a usb port and access it. SO i have the pics in 2 locations currently. I may zip them up a few times and just toss them on 1 drive i have some much storage there as I do a lot of things with Microsoft. Unfortunately my laptop dropped on the floor and the hard drive was completely bust and unrecoverable will never get those back.That's why I set up a NAS server and set up my own cloud storage. All of my data is on that. Have them in a redundant raid config too just incase 1 drive fails.And I can stream all my pirated movies from it where ever I am. That's nice too.
