Kronos has a fantastic leveling experience.

For example in the missing diplomat quest on Nost, once you defeat hendel you are forced to trek back to Theramore and do the turn in at the top of the tower.

On Kronos they actually scripted the whole RP event with the portal and Jaina and the other guy showing up to chat.

That's just one example but the leveling experience on Kronos is BAR NONE more noticeably better developed there. There are many other instances of this same level of attention to detail, like mobs fanning out when you have multiple mobs on you, mobs sleeping at night. I'm not being a fan boy, I've just played on multiple private servers and I can spot the differences.

Nost has the pop though...so in the end population is king and that's why I'm here.

I honestly would like to know how you think Kronos lacks in scripts but neither of the two of you who groaned at his post thought it worth explaining.

Completely agree. Having played on both servers to level 40+ Kronos was better. Yeah, some bosses and mobs hit way harder than they should, and certain mobs spawn on rooftops and in trees, but at least they ваууing leash properly, don't disappear when you're fighting them to fall underground and follow you around the zone. I haven't run into a bugged quest yet on Kronos, alliance or horde except for the kodo quest in desolace. Oh and all of my totems work on Kronos. The mobs on nost could give a фекал about my stoneclaw totem, and my earthbind totem doesn't even start ticking until 2 seconds after I put it down. 

Both servers have their bugs, but I can live with Kronos' bugs a lot better than I can Nost's. The buggy code and laggy server was why I quit old Nost before it was shut down. I don't know why so many people think this experience is better. I've had nothing but frustration with this server, I just hope after people leave to go to the new server that things will settle down. Elysium's servers have been фекал so far, so it's a wait and see game right now.

I don't get the argument "Nost has the pop". 12k+ people all running around in a world that was built for half that size where resources become scarce, every 3rd person a rank 14, gold sellers everywhere etc, there's just no feeling of awe or wow (no pun intended) when seeing accomplished players/guilds because the server is overflowing with every single character and player type, i get that it may be easier to meet new people and make friends on a large populated server, actually it's just as easy, probably easier on a smaller server where there's a lot less toxicity and more of a community feel. I love an active community and a good population, but it's overkill with Nost, the world can feel alive and bristling with life and have a great community that benefits everyone if the servers were capped too. Just my opinion which is why im not the biggest fan of current Nost/Elysium. 

 

But if you disagree with me that's fine lol i don't care, im sure i'll get called a fag or told to leave in 3....2....1...

Your absolutely correct actually. Not sure why so many people are so hyped about a severely overcrowded server.

Hope they keep the 6k cap on pve. Feels just about right.

I agree 100%. It's severely overpopulated to the point where you can't really do anything at certain levels except wait for the wave of players to die down. I don't even want to think about 30-40. I played on Illidan during vanilla, and that server was pretty crowded but nothing like this. Large Pvp communities have always had a level of toxicity, but this server's community is absolute garbage. Like, subhuman level garbage behind keyboards playing this game. Give me a smaller pop server with a great community over highly populated servers where every 3rd person is an animated pile of фекал that has a bad meme macro and a vocabulary consisting mostly of "cuck."

I don't think that many people will want to leave for that server. There might be some people who think along the lines of "ugh, having 12k people online sucks" mentality but there's evidently at least 12k people who disagree with that and another 1-2k in queue to back them up. These people are the kind of players who like to act like tough edgelords online but will still suck it up to a 12k population rather than a 1k population any day of the week. 

As for the "PTE" concept, I don't really see what's so appealing about it because I really don't think they've thought this through. The TBC launch was by far the worst expansion launch by default and design because both the Alliance and the Horde were forced to start and go through Hellfire Penninsula. Can you comprehend the clusterваууk of having even 2k level 60 raid-geared players leveling through 1 zone in a PvP area at launch? People complain enough about the leveling experience at level 1 with 6 different starting areas and no PvP. Anyone who's gone through the TBC launch experience will confirm that for you. 

Oh, not to mention the community divide you're going to have once you'll have to split people into who wants to stay on vanilla and who wants to play on TBC if you're going to make them separate servers. 

That and the fact that any new players who are going to be quitting retail to play on a legacy server will most likely head for Nostalrius because publicity and population. Before you open your cunt mouths about "hurr durr I don't want any newfags around" you better realize that in order for a server to survive you need an influx of new players to balance the population else it dies out eventually. 

The fact that the server is still in beta and вау knows when it's going to be launched is also a bit of an issue. I don't know how many freshfags are going to want to put up with leveling another character on another server 6 months from now to raid the same raids for 1-2 years there just so they could have the opportunity to experience TBC one day.

To be honest I think a substantial segment of the population will move over, especially from Fresh, simply because the gripes that people have with Elysium will not go away by the time CF launches. Not to mention the fact that MC won't be open by that time on Fresh so people won't feel like they are doing the same thing all over again again.

Also, the grass is always greener on the other side mentality seems to be strong around these parts.

Crestfall was doomed as soon as Elysium announced its Nost core and transfers. Now it'll be left with hand me down players, which are those who have quit simply from being banned or hacked, or who haven't started yet. This won't be many players. If the fresh server launches before Crestfall, they'll have even fewer to attract. Once people are invested in a server, it's not easy to get them to start over again.

Not sure if even any Nostalrius will be coming to Crestfall for few of the many reasons :

 

1- They pretend as best scripted server and people praise it like best scripted , yet they can't even fix Zeppelins bug .

2- Closed Beta , it was supposed to launch at end of Summer , yet it just launched right now , but yeah why not Open Beta so people can see how "best scripted" server is.

3-

 

4- How many years people gotta wait until that server release officially instead wasting their time for Beta Server when on their Release , they gotta start all over again?.
